Crypto. AI. Quantum computing. Three technologies redefining security, trust, and who controls the infrastructure underneath both. Each is transformative alone. Together they're raising a question nobody has fully answered yet: what does trusted infrastructure actually look like when all three are in play?

As I understand it, the current series of Ledger devices will receive a software update to perform post-quantum signatures, pending the release of units with integrated PQC capabilities?

“Trusted infrastructure” is not a mood; it is uptime, recoverability, and an audit trail when the happy path breaks.

the intersection of these three is where a lot of interesting questions around trust start to emerge

In this video, I provide an overview of the current position of the WISeKey Group and explain how the different companies within the ecosystem interact with and reinforce each other. The objective is to show that WISeKey, SEALSQ and are not isolated businesses, but increasingly interconnected components of a common technology architecture. Each company has a distinct mission—digital trust and identity, post-quantum semiconductors and cybersecurity, sovereign space infrastructure, and quantum technologies—but they share technologies, customers, infrastructure and strategic opportunities. The video also explains the broader vision of where we are going: building a vertically integrated sovereign technology platform, extending from the Root of Trust and secure semiconductors to quantum computing, secure communications, satellites and trusted digital infrastructure. Most importantly, I explain how the investments and acquisitions we are making today are designed to strengthen this ecosystem. The value is therefore not only in each individual company, but also in the interactions and synergies between them. The message of the video is ultimately about the transition of WISeKey from a cybersecurity company into a broader sovereign technology group positioned at the convergence of cybersecurity, post-quantum cryptography, quantum computing, AI, IoT and space—and the roadmap we are following to build that vision.

QUANTUM COMPUTING COULD UNLEASH THE MOST POWERFUL AI EVER BUILT. BUT WHO REALLY CONTROLS IT? The Pentagon has invested more than $150 million in quantum computing, a technology most Americans have never used, but one that could reshape artificial intelligence, drug discovery, encryption, national security, and surveillance. Quantum computers use qubits instead of ordinary binary bits. Unlike traditional bits, which are either a one or a zero, qubits can represent multiple possibilities at once. That gives quantum systems the potential to solve certain complex calculations beyond the reach of today’s computers. President Trump signed two executive orders this year to accelerate quantum development and prepare U.S. systems for quantum-era cyber threats. IBM is also working toward a machine with at least 1,000 programmable qubits, a major step toward more powerful quantum systems. The potential is enormous. Paired with AI, quantum computing could help researchers model disease, study pollution, test new materials, and examine massive problems faster than ever. But the risks are enormous too. The same technology could expand surveillance, undermine encryption, and give those who control it unprecedented power to predict and influence human behavior. The question is not just what quantum-powered AI can do. It is who controls it, and whether the public will have any protection from it. Austin Steinbart (Austin Steinbart) joins me to break down quantum computing, AI, surveillance, and what this technology could mean for society.

🚀 SEALSQ $LAES at Times Square — Leading the Future of Quantum & AI Security! We’re proud to share that SEALSQ was featured today on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square, announcing that our CEO Carlos Moreira will deliver the Opening Keynote at IQT Quantum + AI 2025, taking place October 19–21 in New York City. 🎤 Keynote: “AI Meets Quantum: Building Unbreakable Post-Quantum Security” Carlos will explore how AI and Quantum Computing are converging to redefine cybersecurity and shape the next era of digital trust. He will also join Panel 8: CEO Roundtable, alongside top executives from Rigetti, ORCA, SEEQC, and Arqit, to discuss the business and technology strategies driving the quantum revolution. 🔐 During the event, SEALSQ will present updates on its groundbreaking Quantum Shield “QS7001” — a RISC-V-based post-quantum secure hardware platform — and the progress of its Common Criteria EAL5+ certification with Serma Labs. The QS7001 platform integrates Kyber and Dilithium (NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms) with advanced hardware accelerators for low-latency, high-throughput encryption, ensuring robust protection for IoT, automotive, healthcare, and critical infrastructure systems. 🌐 With this innovation, SEALSQ enables partners to future-proof devices against both classical and quantum attacks, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and trust in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. 💬 “Quantum and AI represent both opportunity and risk. With the Quantum Shield QS7001 platform and our broader post-quantum roadmap, SEALSQ is building the security foundation required to protect critical infrastructure, connected devices, and human data against the threats of tomorrow.” — Carlos Moreira, CEO, SEALSQ 📍 Event Details: 🗓️ October 19–21, 2025 📍 New York City 🎤 Opening Keynote: “AI Meets Quantum: Building Unbreakable Post-Quantum Security” 👤 Speaker: Carlos Moreira, CEO, SEALSQ 💼 Panel 8: CEO Roundtable featuring Rigetti, ORCA, SEEQC, Arqit, and SEALSQ #SEALSQ #PostQuantum #AI #QuantumComputing #Cybersecurity #TimesSquare #Nasdaq #IQT2025 #Innovation #RISC-V #Kyber #Dilithium #FutureOfSecurity
