Maybe the smoke Cubes should fade over time? They look great but a bit strange when they are large and high up. Or maybe they could dissipate into smaller cubes?

Honestly I feel like your time might be better spent working on game mechanics and content rather than graphics. Plus the new graphics don't really fit the game as well as the old ones. No hate, just my opinion.
