Crews were working on the last segment of the “cobblestone” portion of the inner track for further tests. I also saw a “Cybercab” logo’d variant next to the iconic “Fork in the Road” display on the S end of the factory, while more employee autonomous Cybercab rides were happening all over the site today. Lots of Cybercab action at Giga Texas this morning! Really great to see just about 1 month to go until production target starts! We see a complete set of Thermoplastic Injection Molds for the exterior of the Cybercab delivered on the N end of the factory, Cybercabs exiting off the highway and through the E side parking lots & roads to the production line main door, and 6 new Cybercabs at Crash Testing! Check out this short clip of some of the action!

The Giga Texas Test Track and offices were quiet at the time of my flight today, but we do see many Cybercabs getting ready for more testing while the track itself is getting a pretty rough “Cobblestone” section being added for more NVH testing along with active noise cancelling calibration. We also see more Cybercabs with the “Cybercab” logos lined up in front of the main factory along with many more in the outbound lot today.

28 August 2026 Giga Texas Snapshots! It was another hot morning (yes, I’ve been in Saudi Arabia in the middle of the summer and I know what real hot temperatures are like, but try flying a drone out here!) 😎 We see a lot of testing on the track with Cybercabs and stop lights today along with many new vehicles at the outbound lot. Construction of the E Adv Chip Fab foundation continues and you should check out my article explaining why this is such a unique foundation. More progress at the Optimus factory today too! Lots more to see. have a great weekend!

28 August 2026 Giga Texas Snapshots! It was another hot morning (yes, I’ve been in Saudi Arabia in the middle of the summer and I know what real hot temperatures are like, but try flying a drone out here!) 😎 We see a lot of testing on the track with Cybercabs and stop lights today along with many new vehicles at the outbound lot. Cybercab action today at the Giga Texas Test Track Operations Center… more Cybercabs on the track and in staging than I’ve ever seen! Check out the conga line of Cybercabs on the track! Superchargers are also being installed, hinting we will be seeing this level of activity for some time to come! Also, we see a long line of these with their hatches open … wonder what they are doing with these?

Again about 70 Cybercabs in the Giga Texas outbound lot today, but I think most are the same as I observed on Wednesday. Some more Cybertruck interspersed within a sea of Model Y’s today as transportation operations will continue all weekend to ship these out. The original Tesla Semi was overseeing the outbound lot again today as the Direct Delivery Center was transferring cars to new customers and this will also continue all weekend too!

A few more views of Cybercabs getting picked up by transport trucks and leaving the site, clear indications of inventory swap out (I get asked this often) & even Cybercabs accumulating on the E side temp lot for the first time! Nice display Cybercab at the Direct Delivery Center today too! We see a Cybercab also departing the E factory exit point and a few others parked nearby. Have a great weekend!

Fantastic short video clip with a unique view of a Cybercab at the Giga Texas crash testing facility today showing what it looks like under the front hood We can also see what the open door looks like from above too. In total about 12 Cybercabs were at the crash testing facility this morning with several showing some signs of completed on in progress tests. There were also 8 Cybercabs at the outbound lot today, & these appear to be more of the engineering testing versions with blue tape where exterior mirrors could be attached while they are being used for tests around the country.

About 40-50 Cybercabs all over the site today, including some testing out the factory exit to the W EOL facility routes, many of the prototypes at the Crash Testing facility today (possibly for recycling) and more! TESLA: Cybercab Fleet Lot, Houston, TX, 8-8-2026 Saturday, August 8th, was a very busy day of Cybercab & Robotaxi testing at Houston's Fleet Lot, as well as the Tesla Hempstead Center. Difficult to count how many Cybercabs were here due to the constant ins and outs of the fleet. If I had to guess, +140. I spotted at least 3 Starlink enabled cabs and multiple with the Starlink indention, ready for a mount. The calibration Cybercab was also in use today as well. If you notice, at one point there was either a shift change or break where employees formed a line and were being handed something from the back of a Model Y. There is a large 37 pic, 3 vid, Subscriber Photo-Thread attached! So sub and check it out. Enjoy!

Fresh off the heels of being granted a temporary restraining order in the legal dispute with Angstrom Automotive, it looks like Cybertruck production has made a bit of a rebound today at the Giga Texas outbound lot! Many (perhaps 100 or more) were parked all over the lot today, some intermixed with Model Y’s and a few Cybercabs, others in groups by themselves, more autonomously driving to the EOL facility for processing and many at the Direct Delivery center. It’s great to see this & I hope signals a new ramp of Cybertruck production!

Follow a newly built Cybercab exiting the Giga Texas factory for the first time & driving the full route (~1.5 miles or ~ 2.4 Km) over to the Supercharges near the EOL facility. This is the routing all Cybercabs take before final processing & then shipping off site. I saw more than 150 Cybercabs today driving or parked all over the Giga Texas site, including more drop ff testing near the factory, three large groups in the outbound lot, testing on the test track & coming off the highway frontage roads. Also, Cybercabs are accumulating in the “overflow” area south of the EOL facility for the first time I can recall. See some of the action with this clip!

Lots of Cybertruck in the lot and driving out from the factory to the W EOL for processing. This is great to see and also backs up stories of many people taking deliveries. What is a bit odd is that those with reservations from the $59K event and previously told to expect delivery in 2027 are taking delivery now. Not sure, but it seems that the reservation # doesn’t necessarily mean it is in sequential order. And not to be outdone, many more Cybercabs int eh outbound toot today too, some with “Cybercab” logos. I did not see any of these with the Starlink modifications, so not sure what to make of this, but great to see production happening ahead of the big Cybercab Launch Event coming up soon!
