hope they have some potholes and speed bumps in the test track. i recently drove my 2026 model Y with 14.3.7 into mexico from laredo TX to guadalajara (mostly non toll roads). The number and verity of potholes and speed bumps was amazing (in a bad way). I had many critical interventions to prevent damage to the car.

Cybercab testing underway again today at the Giga Texas track, along with Model YL rough road testing too. The Cybercabs were in one massive group, racing around the outer oval and stopping together at stoplights placed ont eh W side of the oval. The Model YL’s were repeatedly driving over the linear parts f the inner oval where various road surfaces have been created. I cannot say for sure, but it appears to be NVH testing if I had to guess. We have seen CYbercabs also testing on this section of the track previously. Check out the track activity from today!

Cybercabs doing heavy testing on the Giga Texas track today, with ~30 Cybercabs doing constant stop-and-go testing along with more lane changes around the large oval. Crews were working on the last segment of the “cobblestone” portion of the inner track for further tests. I also saw a “Cybercab” logo’d variant next to the iconic “Fork in the Road” display on the S end of the factory, while more employee autonomous Cybercab rides were happening all over the site today. In a separate post, I’ll share some images of many newly produced Cybercabs at the E Factory exit and in the outbound lot today! 1 week until the big Cybercab Launch Event!

We also see more Cybercabs with the “Cybercab” logos lined up in front of the main factory along with many more in the outbound lot today.

Again about 70 Cybercabs in the Giga Texas outbound lot today, but I think most are the same as I observed on Wednesday. Some more Cybertruck interspersed within a sea of Model Y’s today as transportation operations will continue all weekend to ship these out. The original Tesla Semi was overseeing the outbound lot again today as the Direct Delivery Center was transferring cars to new customers and this will also continue all weekend too!

Many at the main exit point of the factory too & growing numbers showing up at the W End-of-Line and Outbound lots too! We also see more test track work with Cybercabs today, mostly on the inner rough road sections of the track, but some also driving around the large oval. The track ops center looked to be getting ready for more tests throughout the day. There were even some more Model Y’s joining in with the testing fun too today!

Of interest today in the outbound lot is the appearance of hundreds of Mode; YL’s and many more Cybercabs and for the 1st time equipped with the Starlink module one the hatch in big numbers. At the Cybercab Launch Event last week, I talked to some employees who were very proud of the production ramp of the Model YLs and were looking forward to me flying to show you just how well the ramp is going! With the Cybercabs starting to be produced off the production line with the Starlink addition to the hatch, this may show that this has moved from the conceptual and testing phase to more of a production phase with the appropriate tooling and DIE changes rather than being retrofitted. Fresh off the heels of being granted a temporary restraining order in the legal dispute with Angstrom Automotive, it looks like Cybertruck production has made a bit of a rebound today at the Giga Texas outbound lot! Many (perhaps 100 or more) were parked all over the lot today, some intermixed with Model Y’s and a few Cybercabs, others in groups by themselves, more autonomously driving to the EOL facility for processing and many at the Direct Delivery center. It’s great to see this & I hope signals a new ramp of Cybertruck production!
