🌹👋🇨🇦⚖️ : Danielle Smith says one judge appointed by Justin Trudeau shouldn't be able to eliminate the rights of 700,000 Albertans who signed on to have a referendum on independence. If Smith fights as hard for the referendum as she has against carbon taxes and for building pipelines, the referendum vote will never happen. Smith does warn the court ruling could dramatically change how Alberta is governed.

Alberta separation referendum will be on the immediate political horizon. This is a great move by Danielle Smith: facilitate citizen petition for the referendum so that she can positively assert not being behind the movement, knowing very well that it will be a citizen-driven movement, especially after they make it easier for citizen petitions to pass thresholds in the first place.
