So that means a high wage position must be a white job, am I understanding this right? Hey “Blacks for Trump” you good with this rhetoric? Black people on the fence, Republicans are racist and don’t care about us. The reason they believe we are only good for low wage jobs is because they think they are superior. They accuse Black people of making up stories of racism while they are outwardly racist. Trump and his ilk have never been pro-Black because they are frightened we are coming for their jobs. Hence why they want to get rid of diversity and inclusion in colleges and at the workplace. Migrants aren't the enemies, Republicans are. #DemsUnited

For software engineering, we already have a situation where AI is better than at least 90% of humans at writing software, including 90% of professional software engineers. It really is getting to the point where it will be better than 99%, and then it will get to the point where there’s just no way to compete. It will get to what I call Stockfish level. Stockfish is a chess program that is so good at chess that it will easily beat Magnus Carlsen, or anyone, even while running on a small computer. I suspect you could probably run Stockfish on your phone and beat Magnus Carlsen. That’s how good it is at chess, and that’s how good AI will be at writing software. And that applies to everything.”

The three ways AI, particularly long-horizon agents, are changing the role of PMs: "First, product development is changing because the models and the capabilities are growing so fast that if you try to be very strict and stringent about describing exactly what you're going to build, its not going to work. It's very important for the PMs to be understanding of what these models are capable of and to be hands-on. The only thing PMs do now is articulate what the customer needs are at the highest level. But the actual product is built bottoms up by engineers, researchers, and product managers and designers all working together on the code itself. Second, the product manager and designer role are merging increasingly. When given the choice between an extra designer and extra engineer, they're saying, give us an extra engineer. And the other very important thing that's fundamentally different is non-deterministic software. Today, you could do X, Y happens. But if you do slight variation of X something completely different happens. That means someone has to evaluate whether or not what the software is producing is reasonable or not across various use cases. So the PM's job is to be very clear at a high level of what the user needs are, and then have a very clear sense of whether this product is good to ship or not by evaluating it."
