a lot of visual identities fall apart the moment you remove the logo. so here’s friendly advice I wish someone drilled into me earlier: run every visual identity through the Three-Post Test. What is it? Design three social media posts in the new visual identity. (btw, you can now easily design and export social media assets directly in Framer) Or, design three posters. (a tip that Jessica Strelioff’s also recently shared!) Then, the important step: remove the logo. Now, look at them like a stranger would. If you’re trying to get out of junior design mode — ask yourself: 1. without the logo, do these three posts still obviously belong together? Follow up with: 2. can I easily point to repeating rules (layout, type behavior, spacing, color logic, ...)? 3. could another designer easily continue this system without me in the room? If you answer 1. no 2. nope 3. uhmmm, not sure then you’re in trouble. If the logo disappears and the connection goes with it, that’s your signal: you don’t have a visual system yet, just three nice visual pieces. maybe a very nice logo, too. So, run this test early, save yourself time later.

A lot of hitters confuse being late with letting the ball get deep. They’re not the same thing. In this video I show it with a simple example. I toss the ball and reach way out in front of me to catch it. That’s what late looks like. The ball already beat you… now you’re chasing it with your hands. Then I toss another one and catch it slightly behind me. That’s being on time and letting the ball get deep. When you’re late, your body and barrel are reacting after the ball passes your window. You’re forced to reach, cut across it, or roll it over. When you’re on time, you can let the ball travel and still control it. Now the barrel can stay through the zone longer, and you can drive it with authority. Deep ≠ late. Good hitters aren’t reaching for the ball… they’re on time enough to let it come to them. ⚾️ Train with an expert. Not an influencer.

I didn’t expect Grok’s video model to improve this much. Today, when I was generating a video with Seedance 2.0, I found the results weren’t very good. So I tried using the exact same source material and prompt in Grok instead. To my surprise, Grok actually produced better results than Seedance 2.0. I’ve put the prompt and source material in the comments, so if you’re interested, you can give it a try too. The left side shows the video generated by Grok, and the right side shows the video generated by Seedance 2.0.

I didn’t expect Grok’s video model to improve this much. Today, when I was generating a video with Seedance 2.0, I found the results weren’t very good. So I tried using the exact same source material and prompt in Grok instead. To my surprise, Grok actually produced better results than Seedance 2.0. I’ve put the prompt and source material in the comments, so if you’re interested, you can give it a try too. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling.
