Felt like such a huge life hack to set the entire box of paper on the floor behind the printer. Just change the box like every year or so. 9 year old me was completely convinced I was the first person to figure that out 😁

I'll still stick with my OKI Data. The table would probably break on the first drop.

That's a brave man. Oh wait probably was built in America with quality back then

Absolutely - loved those Epson printers, never jammed, never stopped, never needed ink - just print and print! Change the type once in a while if you remember. I miss the sound of those printers! I printed my diploma work on one of those, it was hard to get it to print integrals and such, but not impossible :)

I had a Xerox laser printer that was the size of a large suitcase. It was medal and heavy. When it acted up, you dropped it from about 2-3 ft. It made insanely good prints for the day.

My Brother would like a word with that Epson.

I complained about it at the time, but now I miss the soothing sound of the dot matrix doing its thang.

I kept finding those torn-off perfs in my pockets and purses. Always on the run back then!

I remember years of Epson dot matrix printers buzzing away. And the clatter of Daisy Wheel printers. That was a wonderful age. (The nearly silent HP LaserJust was most welcome.)
