The Chaos Engine Commodore Amiga OCS/ECS vs AGA version. The AGA version of "The Chaos Engine" benefited from the Amiga's third-generation chipset, allowing for up to 256 colors on screen simultaneously in indexed modes, and even more in HAM-8 mode. This upgrade significantly enhanced the visual detail, depth, and vibrancy of the game, particularly in terms of its steampunk Victorian setting. Zeewolf for the Amiga by Binary Asylum (1994) is a nice polygon-based helicopter shooter. It's reminiscent of the game Virus (aka Zarch). ~68030/FastRAM here - I got a faster machine but I don't think it goes faster there: these old Amiga 3D games tend to run in ChipRAM rather than FastRAM ('bottlenecked' to run on stock models). #AmigaReposts
