Dr. Rhonda Patrick just dropped a 3-hour masterclass on the Huberman Lab podcast. She shared 8 shocking insights about everyday things that are slowly making you sick: 1) Drinking water from glass bottles (has higher levels of microplastics than in plastic ones)

@ProjectGokuu It's hard to take advice from someone who recommended the Covid jabs.

@ProjectGokuu @hubermanlab Personally I only drink water directly from the sky during rainfall. Anything else is tainted.

2) Eating saturated fat alone damages gut lining Fats like, butter or oil, without a fiber matrix damages gut epithelial cells significantly. This allows inflammatory bacteria to enter your bloodstream causing chronic fatigue, brain fog, and even depressive symptoms.

3) 5 days of processed foods create insulin resistance Healthy young men who ate 1,200 extra processed calories daily for just 5 days developed brain insulin resistance. This kills satiety signals, triggers intense cravings and builds invisible visceral fat around organs.

4) Your non-stick pan is poisoning you PFAS forever chemicals are still found in 80% of non-stick cookware today. These are linked to hormone disruption, gut microbiome damage, and fertility issues. Switch to pure titanium or cast iron—they are the only safe options.

5) Avoid ADHD drugs for focus A WashU study found that Rittalin, adderall and other cognitive enhancement drugs gave zero cognitive benefit beyond what a full night of rest already provides. They just restore the alertness good sleep would give you.

6) Reheated fast food oil is poison Restaurants reheat seed oils over and over, creating oxidized lipids that spike inflammatory markers. Every french fry from a drive-through has been soaking in this recycled inflammation fuel all day. Avoid them at all costs.

7) Receipts are coating you in BPA Every thermal receipt you touch transfers bisphenol A directly through your skin into your bloodstream. Charles Poliquin warned about this a decade ago and got mocked. The science has now fully caught up—he was right all along.

8) Sitting is as deadly as smoking Low cardiorespiratory fitness, even with zero diagnosed diseases, carries the same mortality risk as smoking or heart disease. Most people have no idea that being sedentary is just as dangerous as lighting up a cigarette daily.

TLDR: 1) Glass bottles have more microplastics than plastic ones 2) Avoid saturated fat without fiber 3) 5 days of junk food causes insulin resistance 4) Avoid sitting for long times 5) Avoid non-stick pans 6) Avoid ADHD drugs 7) Avoid reheated seed oils 8) Avoid receipts

Ok, love @foundmyfitness, but this is a misleading assertion. The comment comes from a French study and has to do with the plastic and materials in the screw on cap of a glass bottle. Makes zero sense to believe water sitting in a plastic bottle for weeks or months (possibly in a hot car or sunlight) should have less microplastics than glass. This is called “the healthcare podcast gurus have run out of things to scare us with.” Thank you for your attention to this matter!

@ProjectGokuu @hubermanlab So tired of hearing this broad after she lectured us into getting Covid jab and said myocarditis is from Covid and not the shot.

@ProjectGokuu I'm convinced obsessing over this stuff is more detrimental to health than just living a healthy and happy life completely ignorant of 'the latest science'

@ProjectGokuu Ok so I’ve learned for. Her and others over the years that nothing is good for us. So I’m just going to live my life and eat anything I want in moderation and watch my calorie intake. One life to live

@ProjectGokuu "Being alive is DEADLY" 😂 -Dr. Rhonda Patrick

@ProjectGokuu I’m just gonna start drinking straight out of the toilet

@ProjectGokuu She’s referencing a study from France that I believe was looking at a single bottling company, also she said the plastic particles were larger making them easier for the body to get rid of. The takeaway from this should not be to drink from plastic bottles over glass bottles

@ProjectGokuu Wait - is this the same @foundmyfitness Rhonda Patrick nutrition lady who promoted the useless and dangerous Covid shots??

@ProjectGokuu apparently the only safe way to drink water, i guess.

@ProjectGokuu @Shartival I’m relieved that there’s nothing about alcohol on the list…bottoms up! 🍻

@ProjectGokuu Not every glass water bottle has paint in the cap. The ones I buy at Whole Foods have a basic aluminum cap. No paint or plastic. @foundmyfitness

@ProjectGokuu this has to be a combo of the two most insufferable people on the planet. Just turning everyone into hypochondriacs.

@ProjectGokuu If you look closely enough at anything, you can find something bad in it. But these podcast people make lots of money by pushing against the grain which is refreshing but once that grain goes stale they start fear mongering.

@ProjectGokuu 8 ways to increase anxiety for no reason

@ProjectGokuu Before following her advice, I suggest listening to her debate Rogan .... 😏 After that ...

@ProjectGokuu 1) We are all going to die. 2) Human lifespans are far longer than they were 100 years ago 3) Some of the healthiest people on the planet drink red wine every day 4) These do this, don’t do this health tips are tedious and annoying 5) I’m drinking red wine now 6) Cheers!

@ProjectGokuu what a load of shit on the first 2 points

@ProjectGokuu I live in Japan where people live long lives and almost zero obesity and people don't pay attention to any of these things. Don't even read labels. Shopping carts full of chips, cookies, white bread, frozen food, fried foods, processed sauces. Who knows.

@ProjectGokuu I’m gonna be brutally honest. I don’t fucking care.

@ProjectGokuu I'm so over this cycle of bio-hackers telling you everything is going to kill you, here's what you need to do 15 hours a day and take out a 2nd mortgage to afford it...Just love your family, exercise, try to eat healthy, enjoy this life and don't stress too much about perfection!

@ProjectGokuu @grok if glass and plastic bottles are both bad, what’s the best? Stainless steel?

@ProjectGokuu She knows the audience, she's just looking to create content that helps these podcasts and keeps her paid.

@ProjectGokuu Let me guess, the studies were funded by the plastic lobby?

@ProjectGokuu @philosophy_life Glass - lids - more plastics - bullshit

@ProjectGokuu @hubermanlab How do I delete Rhonda Patrick from my life?

@ProjectGokuu In summary, eat at home

@ProjectGokuu I drink water from the local creek. Just walk 3 miles when I’m thirsty and stick my head in to avoid drinking water in glass.

@ProjectGokuu [RED] 100% false. Fibre is bad for us. It's inflammatory, blocks the absorption of fat soluble vitamins [A, D, E and K] and blocks the reabsorption of bile acids. Shiny Patrick is pushing propaganda

@ProjectGokuu this is where I get most of my protocols

@ProjectGokuu Wait a week, and you’ll hear the exact opposite. Same podcast, different “expert.” High reps to failure kill gains. Low reps to 2 RIR ruin growth. Sleep 10 hours. Sleep 6. Calories don’t matter. Count everyone. Boring!

@ProjectGokuu Your first point itself is taken out of context. Please do your research before claiming anything. From what I remember, that particular research had glass bottles that had a lid from which paint was falling into the water. But otherwise glass bottles are safe.

@ProjectGokuu You have to be on a unattainable level of lifeless activity to actuallly listen to/ process this information! People should be out living. Not researching / listening to how paint on a plastic lid can destroy you! What the soul doesn’t know won’t hurt it!
