Some of my favorite movements/exercises are just this: effective and not too flashy. But they work great for opening up space and releasing tension.

I do this regularly at my desk with resistance band, but didn’t have that contraction element at the end of each cycle. Will include that, feel like it incorporates more muscle groups, which would be a welcome addition.

Yeah the extra extension at the max range positions makes it better than just a stretch imo
