#E20 fuel does not cause a drastic drop in vehicle mileage as often claimed on social media. The actual impact is minimal—an average vehicle delivering 20 kmpl may see a difference of just 0.6 kmpl after switching to E20. Factors like tyre pressure, traffic conditions, and driving habits often influence mileage more. Trust facts, testing, and data over misinformation. #EthanolBlending #E20Facts #CleanEnergy Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG

Over the past two and a half years, more than 20 crore two-wheelers and 20 lakh four-wheelers have been running on ethanol-blended petrol without any systematic issues. E20 has no impact on vehicle insurance coverage. With an Octane Number of approximately 108.5, compared to petrol's 84.4, ethanol offers significantly higher octane. This enables better acceleration and smoother performance in modern engines. ✅ Trust facts, not rumours❌ Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG Ministry of Information and Broadcasting #FuelTheFacts #E20 #EthanolBlendingProgramme #EthanolBlending

The rollout of E20 petrol marks a major step in India's transition towards cleaner, more sustainable energy. Implemented through a phased roadmap to ensure vehicle readiness and fuel quality, the initiative has already delivered significant economic and environmental gains—saving over ₹1 lakh crore in foreign exchange, generating ₹1.18 lakh crore+ for farmers and the ethanol industry, and reducing more than 54 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions. E20 is strengthening India's energy security while driving a greener, more self-reliant future. #E20 #EthanolBlending #EnergySecurity Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG

At Bharat Petroleum Pump, Sector 35 Noida Without even asking, the staff started filling Speed instead of normal petrol. When I objected, the lady said: “Normal has max ethanol, so Speed is better.” First govt imposed E20 without choice, now pumps are pushing fuel we didn’t ask for. This is pure gundagardi in the name of “customer satisfaction”. As consumers, we deserve the right to CHOOSE. CC: Hardeep Singh Puri Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG PMO India
