I was delighted to commission 71 urban road projects yesterday in Enugu, in fulfillment of the pledge we made to our people who gave us their mandate one year ago. We shall continue to serve Ndi Enugu with every fibre of our being. To make sure that all Trunk A and Trunk B roads in the urban and rural areas are paved, we shall embark on the construction of additional 80 roads, and also see that streetlights as well as water taps are functional. Our rural communities are not left out. We are committed to constructing 10 kilometers of roads in each of our state's 260 wards. We are re-energized to work even harder by the wonderful support from our people. Tomorrow is here!

We continue our work in Washington and are soon expecting a decision on F-16s to increase the number of aircraft available to Ukraine. Yesterday, we secured 5 more Patriot systems and dozens of other air defense systems. Today, a decision on aircraft is also expected. We will also finalize two new security agreements, which include support for sanctions against Russia, our accession to the EU and NATO, the protection of our soldiers and people, and reconstruction efforts. There will be at least ten meetings with world leaders. I am grateful to our entire team for their work. Today, we will also have meetings in the U.S. Congress with both parties and both chambers. We appreciate American support and will discuss how to achieve even more positive results in our cooperation with the United States – ideally, long-range and far-reaching.

The warriors of the 95th Polissia Separate Air Assault Brigade are carrying out missions in the Oleksandrivskyi sector. It is one of the brigades that has made a significant contribution to preserving our state. Brave, strong, and absolutely honest warriors who look the enemy in the eye, are not afraid, and know that more of the enemy must be destroyed – then Ukraine will win. Today, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi, I met with the defenders at the brigade’s command post and presented them with state awards. I also spoke with brigade and battalion commanders of the Airborne Assault Forces. Among the key issues were recruitment, mobilization, the involvement of foreign volunteers, AWOL cases, and providing units with the necessary weapons and equipment. We documented everything, and the task for the Commander-in-Chief and the Minister of Defense is to promptly meet these needs of our warriors. I thank the defenders – each and every one of you who are holding our positions and defending our land. We are proud of you.

First fire! 🔥 We have successfully kicked off the hot fire campaign for our first stage at SaxaVord Spaceport UK. We hot-fired a total of four Helix engines, igniting one by one at four second intervals. All engines ran simultaneously for 8 seconds with a total hot-fire duration of 20 seconds. The test ran flawlessly through start-up, steady-state and shutdown. With this hot fire, we were able to demonstrate that we can nominally operate and control our first stage and all its systems, as well as a cluster of Helix engines. RFA and our incredible team are marching steadfastly on towards our first test flight, not only in Scotland but also in Augsburg, Portugal and Sweden. Special thanks to our partners at SaxaVord Spaceport UK for their support at all levels.

Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 6:55 AM: A series of strong to moderate wind events. The first wind event will impact not just Northern California but also Central and Southern California in the next 72 hours. Let me explain. The initial wind event will affect Northern California as a surface cold front crashes through, with north winds gusts reaching 45 to 60 mph. This particular wind event will impact the Napa, Santa Rosa, and San Francisco regions from Wednesday noon through about 1 PM Thursday, when the cold front moves down into Bakersfield, kicking up dust and debris and potentially causing issues on the 5 Freeway and 99. This will likely have impacts later tonight through Thursday. Meanwhile, in Southern California, northwest wind gusts are projected to reach 40 to 55 mph, possibly causing trees to fall and powerlines to collapse early Thursday morning and continuing through Thursday night. This will also affect Long Beach, California, which is quite unusual for these events. A secondary low-pressure axis will take shape, arriving on Saturday at 4AM to Sunday at 12PM positioning itself near Yuma, Arizona. This atmospheric setup with allow asurface high over Santa Cruz, California of a 1025 millibar high will create ideal conditions for a strong and potentially strong Santa Ana wind event for Southern California particularly the corridor from Santa Clarita to Camarillo around 55 to 65 mph, creating potential for destructive power lines to come down. Unfortunately, this very strong wind will cause mountain waves in the San Fernando Valley and Malibu region. The good news is that we will not see significant fire activity due to the recent tremendous rainfall we experienced in mid February 2026 and in December 2025. However, Saturday 2AM - 9AM there is concern that we could see even isolated stronger winds in Altadena and Pasadena that could exceed 65 MPH gusts. I am closely monitoring the situation, as this very windy period will also affect Las Vegas and parts of Arizona with gusts of 45MPH - 65 MPH. If you are traveling in those areas, please be aware of blowing dust and debris on highways. #CAwx

The team at WCK’s Field Kitchen in Mayotte wrapped up production last week after preparing more than 580,000 hot meals for communities impacted by Cyclone Chido. With the support of these local chefs and community leaders, we were able to focus our efforts on providing traditional dishes that brought comfort to families in need. Beyond the food cooked at our kitchen, we also worked with restaurant partners to serve a total of 4 million meals. We are so proud of this staff, many of whom were directly affected by the storm, and their dedication to showing up every day to support their neighbors. #ChefsForMayotte

It’s time to debunk some LIES about the LA firestorm. Los Angeles experienced a FIRE HURRICANE. We have two seasons in Southern California that most regions don't have. One is the fire season. The other is the winter Santa Ana wind season — when we get extremely high winds. The fire season used to go from July to September. But now, due to changing weather patterns, our fire season lasts until the winter months — which means for the first time in millennia, our fire season ran into our high wind season. With Hurricane-force winds blowing (110+ mph), no helicopters or flying air tankers could take off. Therefore LA could not fight the wildfires by dumping millions of gallons of sea water on them (like we usually do). And amount of water from tiny fire hydrants (or water guns or water balloons, for that matter) could have stopped a fire hurricane. Unless the GOP has UFO technology that can fly helicopters in hurricanes, L.A. would have burned under Republicans, too.

Khan Younis faced multiple massacres and displacements over the last few days. The military occupation is pushing people further towards the coast and to the Central Area. With the successful completion of construction of 332 boreholes across all political wards in the state within our first 100 days in office, we have followed it up with strategic upgrade and renovation of several water works in the state for effective and efficient supply of clean water to the people. The completion of the ongoing renovation of Ora Igbomina waterworks, expected to serve about 5 or more local governments in Osun Central, and the renovation of Iwo Water Works, expected to serve the people of Iwo Federal Constituency , is another milestone in our quest to ensuring every household in Osun enjoys clean water. Today, I was in Sumy region – one of the directions where a lot is at stake. I personally thanked our warriors and everyone carrying out missions in the Kursk region, defending our state and our Sumy region from the Russians’ unrelenting desire to advance into Ukraine from these directions. I am grateful to all our soldiers and sergeants, to every officer fighting with absolute heroism in these areas. Since August of last year, our units have been fighting on enemy territory—one of Ukraine’s most significant achievements in this war. It is entirely fair to bring the war back to where it came from. We spoke with the commanders of our units in this area – discussed key needs, additional support, equipment supply, drones, operational issues. We are working to defend our positions. We know what the enemy is counting on. In any case, we will defend our state, our independence and our people.

Yesterday, the men and women of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s Florida Task Force 1 (#FLTF1) arrived in Venezuela and began the next phase of their mission. Deployed by the U.S. Department of State as part of the U.S. response, our team immediately got to work upon arrival, boarding a bus and traveling to their assigned base of operations. There, they quickly established camp and began preparing to support ongoing search and rescue efforts alongside international partners. Over the coming days, they will bring their expertise, compassion, and commitment to those impacted by this devastating disaster.
