I’ve heard it in every neighborhood: New Yorkers are worried about e-bikes flying by and putting their families and children at risk. Enough is enough. We will soon be implementing a 15-MPH speed limit on e-bikes, so pedestrians AND riders can be safe on our streets.

Bus stops should not have anything speeding past them as doors open … Pavements or cycle lanes should be free from speeding bikes, scooters ect …. This is a classic example of what happens … I’ve seen it first hand …

Enforcement has been stepped up, and parents may also face fines if their children are found operating these vehicles unlawfully.
