Raila odinga left behind very loyal stauch luo supporters who remain steadfast and faithful, even when support is unpopular for Edwin sifuna in ODM party. To them Sifuna represents the last legacy of Raila as the last ODM SG appointed by him. I hope it makes sense to you🫡🤔

"I hear some confused elements like Sifuna trying to do campaigns here in Homabay, let me tell them that we're going to do zoning and Nyanza is an Odm Zone, not even UDA can try. We will deal with Sifuna and his sycophants accordingly" Furious ODM leader Dr. Oburu Oginga warns Sifuna and other parties trying to campaign in Nyanza. Similarly central is a DCP zone

Edwin Sifuna: The Raila Odinga that I knew would never wish the worst even on his own worst enemy. Raila Odinga, in power or in cooperation with a party in power, would not allow the teargassing of the devil in church. You can call out Rigathi’s hypocrisy when he was in power, but that does not make it right that now, because he is outside of power, it is okay for him to be teargassed in church #CitizenExplainer

Yes, no doubt former ODM SG Edwin Sifuna and the team are drawing crowds in the rallies including the ongoing Kakamega rally. But he now has to answer two questions. 🔹Who is the team's presidential candidate? 🔹Why is the team not using ODM traditional Orange brand? He must answer this otherwise whoever against Dr. Oburu Oginga is for Wamunyoro/Uhuru Kenyatta (the enemies of ODM).

Raila Odinga: I have addressed the nation and the President is part of the nation and it applies to him as much as it applies to the other people. I am not partisan in any way, this is a proposal that is coming to me and from my party ODM. This is our stand as a party #SabaSaba

Hon. Orengo: I come here in my capacity as the Party Leader of Linda Mwananchi. I came here to make a courtesy call because I know Mheshimiwa Waziri has been Raila's daughter; very close to the heart of Raila Amolo Odinga, and in all the political work of Raila Odinga, when Aisha Jumwa was not there, Raila would not be happy. As we stand here, wherever Raila is,I think he is very happy. #K24Mashinani #K24Siasa

For 9 years, Baba Raila Odinga never trusted Babu Owino with any serious seat in ODM leadership. Not once. Ask yourself why. He saw the arrogance. He saw the immaturity. So this is not about bloggers. This is direct: Babu, man up, shape up, or LEAVE LINDA MWANANCHI Linda Mwananchi is bigger than your ego. And our Party Leader is Edwin Watenya Sifuna.

Edwin Sifuna on an NDC being called and him being kicked out as SG: It is okay. There is nowhere it is written that Sifuna can be the only one who is SG. I have said that I have predecessors, people who have done this job; I have young people in ODM who, I know for a fact, if they are given the opportunity, they can do this job even better than Sifuna or all the other SGs that have served before. It is not anyone’s birthright to be SG or to be any position in the party #CitizenExplainer

TRUTH BEHIND WINNIE-OBURU RIFT By Gordon Opiyo Winnie Odinga, backed by Uhuru Kenyatta has started off the campaign to kick out Oburu Odinga as Party Leader. They have declared that they are ODM-Asili, owners of the party, owners of the ODM Title Deed... And Oburu Odinga is an impostor according to them. We are in for a very rough ride ahead... However, this Oburu-Ida Rift did not start yesterday. It is a a very vicious battle that has the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga wealth at the Center. It has been simmering for more than 20 years. Oburu has been pushing for distribution of the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga wealth to all children of Jaramogi, and Ida has been reluctant to allow distribution. As a result, several Jaramogi Oginga Odinga children and grandchildren are wallowing in poverty, in spite of their father and grandfather having wealth worth billions. This battle for control of ODM is just the tip of the Iceberg, it is just a prelude to a very dramatic succession battle. As IDA and Oburu fight over ODM and wealth of Jaramogi..... We as Luo Nyanza are already decided...it is Ruto..We will never fall for the Uhuru Kenyatta trap again.. We fell in 1963, we fell in 1969, we fell in 1982, we fell in 2002 and in 2022...hakuna kusikiza Kenyatta na na watu wake tena...

The day Raila Omollo Odinga tapped into Edwin Sifuna’s body, instead of joining the other spirits of politics, was the day Edwin Sifuna stood in front of all ODM mourners who were feeling very sad about the loss of Mzee Raila. Edwin Sifuna stood strong at the podium, in an orange shirt, and quoted the last wish of Mzee Raila Omollo Odinga, where he clearly stated that ODM will be in the 2027 presidential race, and they will only be in the broad-based coalition if the 10-point agenda is met within 100 days. That moment, for me, was more than politics. It was about carrying forward the wishes, principles and political legacy that Mzee Raila left behind. But as you can check from the news materials, youths have been killed, and some have even lost their lives while in police custody. The health sector is not working at all. Mwananchi is struggling, and the very issues that ODM promised to fight for are still staring us in the face. This is why I believe Sifuna understood the assignment. He didn't stand there to replace Raila. He stood there to carry the torch. And since that day, I have looked at Edwin Sifuna differently. Because sometimes, leadership is not about taking someone's position. It is about having the courage to continue the journey when the person who inspired it is no longer there. Mzee Raila may be gone, but the dream, the struggle and the responsibility to fight for a better Kenya cannot be buried with him. That orange shirt was not just a colour that day. It was a reminder. The struggle continues. 🇰🇪🧡

Jeff: Are you saying Sifuna is not ready to be President? Francis Atwoli: For now, NO. He is a future leader, I agree, and I can support him in any manner that he wants. I was in Azimio; I went through this republic with Raila. The tediousness, the running up and down looking for votes. It requires massive support from all county governors and the business community. Raila had networks, and we still lost. Sifuna is not even a quarter of those people who have tried #CitizenSundayLive

I have watched this Dr Oburu Odinga interview and I have realised the following; 1. Edwin Sifuna will be stripped of from the party as SG next NEC. Seems Oburu was annoyed by the word mediocre 2. CS Wandayi is protected and won't resign. 3. It seems zoning won't be allowed. They will allow any member to vie. Gladys Wanga is the most affected by UDA fronting Oyugi Magwanga 4. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki will have lose his seat to accommodate ODM and Joho is likely to be the one for that 5. There's a rift in the party and expect a serious fallout. Gladys Wanga and Junet Mohamed are no longer in good terms with Oburu decisions

Sen. Godfrey Osotsi: I am surprised that Hon. Oburu told us he needed to consult further. In that consultation, he did not have other key stakeholders in the party, but he proceeded to State House to consult William Ruto. We were waiting for feedback from Oburu on whether or not the NEC meeting in Mombasa is happening. I am surprised that they went ahead and made the decision to remove Sifuna as the SG. #K24Siasa

Yesterday on Citizen TV, Raila Odinga’s spokesperson, Dennis Onyango, gave some deep and chilling revelations on Raila's close allies. He had this to say; PRESIDENT WILLIAM RUTO ~ Raila trusted President Ruto. He often said their vision was the same, particularly the housing project. Mzee believed in broad-based. JUNET MOHAMMED was really trusted by Raila Odinga, and Junet was hurt the most after the loss of 2022 elections. SK MACHARIA believed in Raila. He wanted him to win and deploy resources. Was undermined by guys who viewed him as analogue. EDWIN SIFUNA ~ Raila trusted him until the interview with Citizen TV, where Sifuna spoke as if Mzee knew nothing. He lost trust of Mr. Odinga in his sunset days. BABU OWINO ~ Raila feared him. He saw him as a threat to his base. He viewed him as impatient. Mzee thought giving him space would destabilize his dominance and make dwindle his long political dominance. HASSAN JOHO ~ One of Raila's most trusted foot soldiers. Mzee could tell him anything, and he would implement immediately. OKETCH SALAH ~ A trusted business partner of Raila. He travelled with Mzee everywhere. Mr. Onyango sympathises with Salah and wonders why some family members were disowning him. MAKAU MUTUA ~ Added no value to Raila. He even made Raila believe in a fake tallying centre.
