Coaching from the stands is disrespectful to … Your kid!! The best players can figure out solutions on their own, they don’t need help from the stands. Each game is an opportunity for players to learn how to do that. Yes, they will fail, but they will learn. And ultimately they will be a better player because of it. Shouting instructions from the stands only shows that you don’t believe they have the ability to make adjustments, and you aren’t good with failing so they can grow.

If players have the ability to get behind the ball, under the ball, and through the ball… they have the ability to shoot the ball with ease. Sync that with their stance and timing … they’ll be a shooter!!!

This idea is fantastic. If you have ever installed a dryer or taken it out to adjust or clean, you know how hard it is to attached that hose. Then you always have to make sure not to move the dryer too fast or hard so it doesn’t come off.
