Otedola Bridge is trending because a tomato truck almost cru/shed an entire family of 4, forcing Lagosians to call for the bridge’s deliverance. Eyewitnesses described it as thus; The truck failed brake, veered off its lane, hit the Highlander at full speed, pushing it to hit the Venza, sending it airborne. The impact stopped the truck, but squeezed the two vehicles into the barricade. Luckily, all passengers in the car came out unscathed. The bridge has become notorious for freak accidents, from container tipping to tanker exploding to brake failures. Last year a gas tanker exploded after it fell while trying to make a sharp turn on the bridge, lives were lost, properties were destroyed in millions, but the fire mysteriously skipped one RCCG church on the street. About 8 months ago, a family of three was klled when an Audi collided with a truck. In June 2018, one of the deadliest accidents happened on the bridge. A tanker exploded, killing atleast 12 people, destroying properties in millions and scores of vehicles. Just two days before Christmas last month, a loaded tanker lost control and crashed into four vehicles, badly damaging them and leaving two persons critically injured. Same December, a heavy duty container truck flipped and collided with another truck. Luckily it happened at night when the road usage was at its lowest. This story will be updated. 🚨 MASSIVE ASTEROID ALERT 🚨 😱 5 ASTEROIDS TO STRIKE EARTH ON JANUARY 4! ⚠️On January 4, something unusual appeared on NASA’s tracking systems. Not one. Not two. But five separate space objects entered Earth’s monitored region of space — all on the same day. 🛰️ WHAT WAS DETECTED NASA’s Near-Earth Object monitoring network identified five asteroids moving at extreme speeds, each following its own calculated path around our planet. • Classified as Near-Earth Asteroids (NEAs) • Traveling at tens of thousands of km/h • Detected days in advance • Tracked continuously as they approached and passed. Their distances varied, but all were close enough to activate automatic observation protocols. 🔭 WHY THIS STOOD OUT Asteroids pass Earth often — but multiple objects on the same date always draw attention. Every trajectory was recalculated. Every data point rechecked. Ground-based telescopes and automated systems stayed locked in. No public countdown. No dramatic warning. Just silent monitoring. 🌑 WHAT THE SYSTEMS SAW • Stable orbits • No sudden course changes • No fragmentation • No interaction with Earth’s atmosphere. One by one, the objects passed Earth’s vicinity and moved back into deep space. 🌍 THE RESULT No impact. No damage. No visible sign in the sky. To most people, January 4 felt completely normal. But above our heads, space traffic moved quietly — and was watched closely. 🛰️ THE BIGGER PICTURE Earth travels through a solar system filled with ancient debris left over from planet formation. Most objects remain distant. Some pass close. A few demand attention. This was one of those moments. The universe didn’t slow down. Earth didn’t notice. NASA kept watching. 🌌 Five asteroids came and went. The planet remained untouched. And space moved on. #Asteroids #NASA #SpaceUpdate #NearEarthObjects #CosmicWatch #Astronomy #Universe

Timeline: 12/23/23: MMTLP open letter is signed and sent to FINRA and the SEC (Deadline for response: 1/31/24). FINRA responded by the deadline; SEC responded 6 days late. 2/2/24: Dennis Kneale interviews Ralph Norman and asks about (MMTLP open letter response) subpoenas and hearings. (On subpoenas) Norman: "That has to come from a chair of a committee, James Comer is chair of oversight. He signed our letter." (On hearings) Norman: "Yes, and we're going to lead the way on that because at the HFSC, that's our job!" 7/10/24: No subpoenas, no hearing (even thought Norman says "We've had hearings on this." (In his interview with Dan Ball) "It's in the SEC's hands." As if to hang his hat on the charges against the former CEOs which still to this day haven't be ruled on or dropped and it seemed as if Norman was wiping his hands clean of getting us answers. 5/26/25: 479 days since his interview with Dennis Kneale, Charles V Payne had Norman on his show again and asks for an update. More lip service from Congressman Norman. Still no hearings, still no subpoenas. ?/??/25: James Comer says on TV, "In order for a subpoena to be honored in a court ruling, you have to make every sincere effort to invite people to come, then you follow up with a subpoena." COMER SIGNED THE LETTER! Why hasn't he taken the initiative here? Still waiting... still tumbleweeds and crickets, even with evidence of collusion between regulators and industry members before, during and after the halt being completely made public. 👻 The word egregious doesn't even come close to describing how unconstitutional the lack of transparency and justice we have received so far has been. We're sick of the run around! FORENSIC AUDIT NOW!

We all remember. We all remember when blockchain was pitched as the next big thing. And today, we feel like we’ve been waiting and waiting. Until recently, Blockchain was too expensive, slow under load, and hard to integrate for most businesses. So enterprises ignored it. It didn’t solve their business problems. That’s changed. Why blockchain, why now? Businesses don’t care about the tech, they care about cost and performance. They’d ask a simple question “Does it save or make me more money?” For a long time, blockchain didn’t clearly do this. That’s no longer true. Blockchain is proving real business cases, especially on Avalanche. On Avalanche, transactions cost fractions of a cent. settle in about a second. And instead of forcing everything onto one shared chain, businesses can launch their own Avalanche L1s with their own rules. To understand this let’s identify the problem and then provide the solution in a way that's easy to understand. Where Businesses Lose Money Most large industries lose money due to operational inefficiencies. Data lives in different systems. Teams spend hours reconciling records that should already match. Intermediaries sit in the middle, taking fees to coordinate all of it. Individually, each step looks small. Together, they create real cost: > Labor spent on manual processes > Capital locked up during settlement delays > Fees paid to intermediaries > Risk introduced by time gaps and mismatched data This is where businesses actually lose money. Not in big, obvious ways. In constant, compounding friction. Take Private Credit, for Example Private credit is loans held outside of traditional banks. It’s a multi-trillion dollar market, and much of it still runs on spreadsheets and weekly reconciliation processes. Loan data is tracked across systems. Teams manually process requests. Funds move on traditional rails, often on delayed cycles. It doesn’t have to be this way Entire teams exist just to keep systems in sync. Now move that system onto Avalanche. Loan data updates in real time. Transactions settle in about a second. Every participant sees the same state instantly. Reconciliation isn’t a separate step because the system itself is the source of truth. The impact is straightforward. > Reduced manual work > Shortened settlement cycles > Fewer layers of coordination between parties Avalanche is Infrastructure for Real Businesses Avalanche is designed to match how businesses actually operate. Instead of sharing a single chain, they can launch their own Avalanche L1s with custom rules, built-in compliance, and predictable performance. They control the system. Avalanche’s Moment For the longest time, blockchain naysayers said this could all be done better with spreadsheets or existing systems. They were right. That’s what the technology allowed. Now it’s changed. Avalanche can replace many of those systems with real-time settlement, shared data, and automated execution. For the first time, the economics work. Built for business. 🔺

Both lights will be on and then it will flash another set (for example left 6, right 4). (Unsure if these 2 combos have to be put into console in order but correct entry will give two different voicelines.) After entering one correctly you will be kicked out to hear voiceline and can re-enter console to input the 2nd shortly afterwards. 7. Now head to Core Foundry, and use a molotov to burn the ascender to access the consoles. 8. Ascend and interact with the consoles, The next part is timed and has a cooldown if you fail - you need to Calibrate the Amplitude and Frequency using the flashing light code. 9. Once this has been done head to the room Next to the Radio Tower and pick up The Wunderbarrage Controller Atomkraft Core 1. Find three uraniums: Uranium #1 Find the Fishing Rod (Olaf’s Personal Item) locations: - Dry Dock - Storm Bridge - Fishery Island - Beacon island Look for a Glowing Green Fish jumping around the water at each Fishing Location and use the Fishing Rod at that location once you see it Fishing Locations: Eidskallen Landing x2 Beacon Island x2 Eidskallen Square x2 Dry Dock (found one so far) Fishery Island x2 Tyr’s Foot (found one so far) Once the fish is caught it will spawn an Irradiated Ravager (HVT) that will disappear and respawn somewhere else, chase it down and kill it (check your map to see its location, it shows up as an HVT). It will drop a Uranium. Uranium #2 Next, Craft an ARC-XD (there is one for free in Eidskallen Square on top of a box near the flame trap, you can get it by fishing as well) and melee the vent at Core Foundry to the left of the zipline to open the Secret ARC-XD Course. Blow up the boat full of barrels. Once the course is completed the 935 Genetic Lab room will be open and another Uranium x2 will be inside a Prison Cell There are several Jars with Heads inside in this room, all labelled A,B,C,D,E Look down the Hallway inside the Lab and note which numbered rooms have Nuclear Symbols 1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, 4 = D and 5 = E Take one Jar at a time that corresponds with the Numbers next to Nuclear Symbols and place them on the machine to the right of the cell door, once the correct jars are placed the Jar on the left side of the machine will glow purple and you can pick up acid There is a Big Chunk of Meat on a desk next to multiple drawings in the same Room, interact with it, then Pick up The Necrospike Once you have The Necrospike, use it on the Prison Cell Door, this will trigger a lockpick mini game. Spin the lockpick until the lock turns white 3x to unlock the cell, then pick up the second Uranium. Uranium #3 Next you need to craft or obtain the Glocke Drop, once you have one call it in, then shoot 20 mid-air zombies it throws up. This will drop the third and final Uranium. 2. At the Dry Dock, you need to call a WunderBarrage (unlocked by completing Wundersignal steps) in on the “02 Building” at Dry Dock (where there’s debris on the stairs), this will open the stairs to the Machine Workshop. 3. Polymarket introduced fees 3% to crush automated trading. A week ago in a Discord with developers we spent an hour doing the math: is it even possible to squeeze $250 a day on 15-minute markets with the new fees? The consensus: margin is dead. One developer didn't let that stop him from quietly making $98K a week. He automated the full pipeline: data parsing, entry calculation, trade execution. While everyone was counting fees, he was collecting money. Second place on the Polymarket leaderboard. I stared at his chart and couldn't figure it out: either I'm missing something, or the entire Discord was wrong. I found him by accident. Scrolling through top wallets and stumbled on numbers that didn't compute. $313 to start. Now $912K. Two months. I recalculated three times: $12-24K per day, and these aren't peak days, this is every day. The profit curve looks like someone drew it with a ruler. Not a single serious drawdown. Not one. For three weeks I watched this wallet. Entry timing. Position sizes. Which markets. What time of day. Looking for what separates him from hundreds of other automated traders. Then I noticed a pattern that made me uncomfortable. There's a 30-second window. Thirty seconds where Polymarket and reality don't match. BTC moves on Binance. The price already changed. But Polymarket odds are still frozen. Old numbers. Outdated prices. The world already shifted, but the prediction market is still asleep. Imagine an auction. You're standing in the room and hear the hammer drop. The lot sold for $50,000. But the other bidders are sitting in the next room watching a delayed broadcast. For them the bidding is still going. They're still raising their paddles trying to outbid. You know the lot already sold. They don't. This wallet is the one standing in the room. Every 15 minutes. Entry while odds are frozen. Wait. Window closes. Pays 30 cents, takes a dollar. No manual intervention. The developer automated the entire process and now just watches. The system only enters after a confirmed impulse on Binance and Coinbase, when Polymarket hasn't caught up to reality yet. The mechanics are laughably simple: Calculates fair value based on the last 10 trades. Price above FV, accumulate YES. Below, accumulate NO. No magic. Just basic math that takes money from people trading on emotions. And here's what got me. When Polymarket introduced fees, everyone wrote: end of automation. Now it'll be a fair game. Know what actually happened? Small players died. The ones with thin margins. The ones who couldn't afford to pay fees on every trade. And this titan? He just knocked off competitors. Less competition in the queue, more liquidity for him. Fees? Just a cost of doing business. At $98K a week it's a rounding error. Polymarket thought they were crushing freeloaders. In reality they cleared the field for one predator. $889K profit. Largest single win $28K. 723 thousand profile views. Profit curve goes straight up without a single serious drop. A human without automation can't even come close to this result. We blink. Think. Hesitate. While your finger reaches for the mouse, his system already closed the position. A week ago I decided to test it. Not analyze. Not build theories. Just copy. He entered a position, I followed. BTC market, 15-minute window. Nothing complicated. I didn't even understand what was happening, just copied. Four hours later I closed. +$247. It didn't change my life. But it changed how I see money working on this market. I spent three years drawing lines in TradingView. Reading analysis. Watching streams. $247 in 4 hours copying someone else's trade blindly. Know what I felt? Not joy. Anger. At myself. For all those years trying to be smarter than the market instead of just standing behind someone who already is. Here he is: Most traders try to predict the future. This one just watches the present arrive 30 seconds early. Right now somewhere BTC is moving on Binance. Polymarket is still asleep. You have 30 seconds. Will you be the one selling to him at old prices? Or the one standing beside him?

Uber is Dead, my reflections on Waymo I’ve been in San Francisco for just over a week, during which I’ve taken 7 rides with Waymo, a similar number with Uber, and a few with FSD Teslas. My journey to SFO via Uber was alarming—the driver veered out of the lane multiple times and nearly crashed on a ramp, seemingly vying for a one-star rating or to genuinely scare me. Conversely, my experiences with Waymo were virtually flawless, if you don’t consider overly cautious driving a fault. I experienced a minor hiccup when we got stuck behind parked cars because the vehicle thought they were queuing at a red light. It quickly resolved the confusion and moved on, which was rather amusing. Waymo, and other Level 5 autonomous vehicles, are poised to revolutionize the movement of people and goods. The most apt analogy I can think of is that Waymo is transforming the real world into an automated Amazon warehouse, with people as the goods and Waymo vehicles as the robots shuttling them around. With the advent of personal transportation becoming incredibly affordable, sending anything from point A to point B using a self-driving electric vehicle will soon be within easy reach. One of Waymo’s standout features is privacy. Riding in an Uber often means being subjected to the driver’s loud group chats on some app, making the journey neither quiet nor private. In contrast, Waymo offers a fully private experience, allowing you to have confidential phone conversations or chat freely with fellow passengers without distraction. Waymo also reimagines the concept of a car. Without the need for a driver, we can eliminate the front console, reduce weight, and remove the steering wheel. This opens up possibilities for passenger seats to be reoriented, perhaps facing backwards, or for the vehicle to become a mobile living room. Tomorrow’s vehicle designs will differ drastically from today’s. Destinations that are currently expensive and logistically complicated to reach via Taxi/Uber, often lying outside public transport routes, can be simplified to a single “Waymo” journey. This could shift the current model of “Uber + public transport + Uber” to a more streamlined experience. As more cars become self-driving, we could see a reduction in the amount of time cars are parked—from 99% of their lifetime to perhaps just 25%. This not only improves unit economics but could also decrease the number of cars on the road. This transition represents one of the most significant shifts for Generation X. In conclusion, the future is autonomous, electric, and efficient. Uber, as we know it, is dead.

May this young man's Soul Rest in Peace. The carnage continues due to unprecedented levels of greed, dereliction of duty, and lack of accountability. The funds are actually there and have been provided over the past decade. The Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance has released about UGX 100 Billion since 2019 for a Department of Government whose main responsibility and objective should be prevention of road crashes. These funds have been spent on activities with very minimal impact on road safety. This information has been shared with IGG, Office of the Auditor General Uganda, Criminal Investigations Directorate-UPF. How do you explained the death of a young man in a fatal road crash that caused the incineration of the vehicle which he was driving? He must have been driving in one of the best motor vehicles in this country given the wealth of his family. He was driving a motor vehicle which probably had good safety features on a smooth road without pot holes. It is easy to draw conclusions like he was speeding, he was fatigued, he lost control of his motor vehicle, he made errors, e.t.c. Whereas all that may be true, did he deserve to die in such a gruesome way for those errors in judgement? The answer is a BIG NO. The truth is government failed him in so many ways. At the center of modern day road safety management is recognition that errors made by road users (drivers, motorcyclists, cyclist and pedestrians) MUST NOT lead to their demise. Here is a situation he found himself in: Concrete Barriers on a road that encourages high speed. Who has the onus to remove this hazard? Government. I could have perished in the same circumstances a few years back before the completion of the KEE on the way to the Airport. It was a rainy early morning at about 5:00am and I drove through barriers which were made of plastic. So why were these not made of plastic? Was there a provision for lighting on that section? If not, it should have been there. This is what we mean when we say roads should be forgiving. Apart from their design, road sides are the major reference here. The road should have forgiven him for this error if it had plastic reflective barriers. These kind of barriers would have caught his attention and he would have stopped his car instead of killing him. Were the traffic lights functional? Why was there no hazard signage or warning of any sort since there were barriers in middle of the road? This section of the road is built as an expressway and as such encourages speeding especially at any time beyond midnight. There are no traffic calming measures in place yet it is freely used by pedestrians and Boda-Bodaz like any other city road. Roads are supposed to be designed and constructed bearing in mind the activities that take place around them (Land Use). Interventions to control speed must be implemented if there is a high volume of different road users. They would have got his attention and he would not have died. A glaring example of contractors that do not care about road safety is on the section of Kampala-Masaka in the swampy section of Lwera. The Concrete Barriers are there and in places where they are not, there is nothing preventing a motor vehicle falling off into the swamp. Not even a rope. UNTIL THE DAY WHEN THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY ACCEPTS THAT ROAD CRASHES ARE PREVENTABLE AND PARLIAMENT STARTS DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILTY ON ROAD SAFETY, THIS CARNAGE WILL CONTINUE. ACCEPTING THERE IS A PROBLEM IS THE FIRST STEP TO SOLVING IT OR MANAGING IT. TOMORROW IT MIGHT BE ME OR YOU. LETS STOP PAYING LIP SERVICE TO UGANDANS ESPECIALLY ALL THOSE FAMILIES THAT LOSE LOVED ONES IN THIS MESS OF GREED AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY. Western Railway is undertaking a major safety-driven encroachment removal operation at Garib Nagar, Bandra (East), today i.e 19th May 2026, after due legal process extending over several years. The following facts may kindly be noted: 1. The matter is not sudden or arbitrary. Proceedings under the Public Premises Act were initiated before 2017 and eviction orders were passed on 27.11.2017. 2. The issue has undergone extensive judicial scrutiny over nearly nine years, including proceedings before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and Hon’ble Supreme Court. 3. The latest orders of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court dated 29.04.2026, subsequently upheld in further proceedings as well as before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, have permitted removal of unauthorized encroachments, while protecting identified eligible structures. 4. Western Railway is fully complying with judicial directions. Structures identified for protection through the joint survey process are not being disturbed. 5. The action is being undertaken primarily in the railway safety zone adjacent to active railway tracks, where unauthorized habitation poses serious risks to human life and train operations. 6. This railway area stretch is operationally critical for augmentation of rail capacity in Mumbai. Removal of encroachments is essential for railway safety, operational flexibility and future infrastructure expansion, including additional train services. 7. The proposed works are linked to enhancement of carrying capacity on one of the busiest rail corridors in the country and will facilitate introduction of additional long-distance train services for passengers across India. 8. Railway land cannot remain perpetually encroached, be it anywhere, and more so in safety-sensitive operational areas. At the same time, Railway administration is acting strictly within the framework of law and court directions. 9. The operation is being carried out jointly with civil administration, police authorities and railway security agencies to ensure maintenance of law and order and humane execution of the drive.

Since my account is somewhat anonymous I’m going to disclose where some of the California high-speed rail money gets wasted. 99% of you don’t realize where giant chunks of the money is disappearing to. The California high-speed rail authority, literally owns thousands of parcels of land that are in various stages continued litigation, tenant improvements, eviction, and constant maintenance. For example, there are many homes and apartment complexes in the plant path that have been purchased years ahead of construction. Removing those tenants is a slow and expensive process. (let’s ignore the extra stress on housing that all of these destroyed properties are causing) In some cases, these are low rent apartments with a lengthy eviction process During that process, the state of California is the landlord and has to maintain the property codes the same as any other landlord. This means repairs, adding smoke detectors, fixing roofs, vegetation management, landscaping, paying off tenants to leave early, boarding up Windows, constant trash cleanups, towing vehicles etc. But the High Speed Rail Authority doesn’t just have to maintain these properties at normal cost. Every single bit of that work has to be done at California prevailing wage rates. The work can only be done through qualified contractors that have passed through a long series of idiotic mazes to qualify to perform the work. An average rate per hour (charge rate) for a worker to perform any service on these properties is approximately $200 an hour for labor only. The cost go up for specialized work, like electricians, plumbers, or machine operators. Properties that are literally worthless are being maintained at huge expense just so the next round of homeless transients can break into the property and cause more damage. For reasons I can’t explain, the process to finally demo and remove the structures takes years. I’m only mentioning the tip of the iceberg regarding my firsthand knowledge. Completely separate from those outlandish costs are the inflation caused by the construction. The prevailing word on the street is that nothing is getting done. The truth is that a lot is getting done and none of it efficiently. The amount of concrete being poured daily and monthly to build gigantic overpasses for both the rail and roadways is not understood. In these work areas, every concrete mixing company is fully scheduled out and cannot offer building materials for other basic services such as building a house often times for weeks when the average lead time for many of these services used to be one day. And that’s just the schedule, never mind the huge cost increases from straining the supply chain and Labor pool. The amount of concrete and steel that has gone into the structures so far is massive. Dozens and dozens of new water wells have been dug just for dust control. Thousands upon thousands of acres of highly productive tree fruits and nuts have been torn up and shredded. Utility scale solar fields have been uprooted and sometimes relocated at extravagant costs. Every type of business you can imagine has gone through either a closure, relocation, or a long-term tenant agreement with the rail authority. In some cases, it’s just a buyout where the business closes its doors forever. The owners get something all of the workers get nothing. Don’t get me started on how thick the layers of bureaucracy are for these minute tasks that occur on all of these properties. The inefficiency is far beyond your wildest dreams. In many cases, this is not related to fraud in any way it’s just absolute ignorance, red tape, and failed leadership. I can go much deeper into specific examples, but I think that gives some of you an idea of what’s actually happening in California. If a rail is ever usable, some portions of the structures will be decades old and already in disrepair.

In one of the #Bengaluru's biggest heists, domestic staff allegedly decamped with gold, diamond and silver jewellery worth an estimated Rs 18 crore from a builder's residence at ASK Lake Garden on #Kempapura Main Road in #Yamaluru recently. The accused are a Nepalese couple identified as Dinesh (32) and his wife Kamala (25). According to the complaint filed by Shimanth S Arjun (28), a businessman, the theft occurred between 9 am and 12.30 pm on January 25. Arjun, son of MR Shivakumar, told #MarathahalliPolice that his family has been residing in the house for the past 19 years. His father Shivakumar, a builder, was out of town for work at the time of the incident. Dinesh and Kamala had joined as housekeepers about 20 days ago through acquaintances identified as Vikash and Maya Vishu. They were employed at the house along with cooks Siddharama and Ambika. On January 25, at around 9 am, the complainant, along with his wife and mother, left the house to attend his wife's land worship ceremony at H Cross on Hoskote-Chintamani Road. At around 12.38 pm the same day, Arjun received a call from the cook Ambika, who alerted him that cupboard locks had been broken and valuables stolen, allegedly by Dinesh and Kamala with the help of others. When the family rushed back, they found that a locker in the ground-floor bedroom had been broken open using an iron bar, with about 10 kg of gold and diamond ornaments stolen. Another locker in the first-floor bedroom was also found broken, from which around 1.5 kg of gold ornaments, about 5 kg of silver jewellery and Rs 11.5 lakh in cash were missing. In all, gold, diamond and silver ornaments and cash worth approximately Rs 18 crore were reported stolen. The complainant alleged that the couple had closely observed the movements of family members in advance. Police have registered a case under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (theft by clerk or servant of property in possession of master). Efforts are on to nab the absconding couple. A senior police officer said the suspects had disconnected the power supply to disable CCTV cameras. The complainant further told police that the couple were replacements for regular domestic staff Vikash and Maya and had agreed to work for a monthly salary of Rs 27,000. Despite repeated requests, they did not submit identity proofs.
