Inaugurated and unveiled the stone plaque of the Savitribai Phule Pune University Square Integrated Double-Decker Flyover (Aundh to Shivajinagar), in Pune today. The flyover has been constructed to address long-term traffic management at University square (Chowk) and Ganeshkhind Road, providing a sustainable solution to congestion in this busy area. One side of the flyover, from Aundh to Shivajinagar, has already been opened for traffic. Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

He was visibly riled up because BRS Supremo and former CM of Telangana KCR is considered “Bapu” or “Father of Telangana”. Revanth, relying on word-play, changes it into a caste-based narrative. Both KCR and Revanth are from upper caste. While KCR never mentioned about castes, Revanth harps on caste. Once he said only Reddys can rule or Kammas are smart. May be he is the only chief minister in Telugu states (in my memory) who attends caste meetings and openly makes casteist remarks. Also! For all the propaganda about Caste Census and BC Reservations- on ground implementation is next to zero. But man never rests a minute when he has to speak about caste! When a man of CM’s stature normalises speaking about caste, there is little hope in India to become caste-free in a few billion years also! Recognizing the strategic importance of this road to the movement of people, goods, and services within Oshodi-Isolo and adjoining communities, I took deliberate steps to ensure the project did not remain abandoned. Following my intervention, I formally engaged the Federal Ministry of Works, drawing urgent attention to the deplorable condition of the road and the need for immediate government action. This effort yielded positive results as the Honourable Minister of Works directed the Permanent Secretary to inspect the project site. The inspection became a turning point that led to the revival of the project, its re-award to Stranbic Construction Limited, and the successful completion of Phase One from Iyana-Isolo to Pako Junction amd from Pako to Oke-afa inwards Jakande Gate Today, what was once an abandoned and deteriorating road has been rehabilitated and restored for public use, significantly improving mobility, easing traffic congestion, boosting commercial activities, and bringing much-needed relief to residents and commuters. Beyond the rehabilitation and completion of the Mushin–Iyana Isolo Road, I also facilitated the rehabilitation of 10 adjoining roads connecting Iyana-Isolo to Jakande to Ikotun to Cele Express all within Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II. They include: - Falana Street - Kogberegbe Street - Akinbaiya Street - Ehingbeti Street - Ehingbeti Spur - Olu Ajulo/Okeho Street - Abimbola Street - Cowbell Road - Kamoru Adeyemi Street - Jimoh Faronbi Street These interventions form part of my broader commitment to improving road infrastructure, enhancing accessibility, supporting businesses, and improving the quality of life for our people. Today marks General Availability of AgentCore, a set of infrastructure building blocks for developers and companies to build secure, scalable agents. When we first started AWS, the vast majority of developers were spending most of their time on the undifferentiated heavy lifting of infrastructure instead of what differentiated their feature. So, we solved that problem by building primitive building blocks like compute and storage and database that would allow teammates and customers to quickly build and deploy new experiences without having to reinvent the wheel each time. We realized the same thing was happening with AI agents. It's too difficult and it's slowing customers down. That's why we created AgentCore, a set of services to build, deploy, and operate highly capable agents using any framework or model, with enterprise-grade security and scalability. These building blocks (like serverless secure runtime, memory, observability, a gateway that does MCP translation, etc) help customers tackle some of the biggest challenges of going from prototype to production, much more quickly, securely, and scalably. AgentCore has been in preview for several weeks, and customers have been quite excited about it. The AgentCore SDK has already been downloaded over a million times and we're seeing transformative results, such as Cohere Health expecting to reduce medical review times by 30-40% in highly regulated healthcare, and teams at Cox Automotive and Experian are embracing its flexibility to deploy and operate agents at scale. Manikonda Residents Demand Immediate Road Widening and Traffic Relief Today, residents of Manikonda and surrounding colonies gathered at Marrichettu and conducted a Walkathon up to OU Colony, demanding immediate widening of the Marrichettu–OU Colony Road, which has become severely congested. The traffic situation is particularly unbearable during peak hours. Commuters, pedestrians, senior citizens and school-going children are facing serious difficulties. Most importantly, emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire tenders are often unable to move freely, creating a serious threat to public safety. The Manikonda Praja AIKYA Vedika, a people’s movement, demands the following immediate measures: Immediate widening of the Marrichettu–OU Colony Road to address the chronic traffic congestion. Immediate opening of alternate routes, including the TRAILS–Road No.10, Panchavati Colony Box Drain-cum-Road, which was constructed nearly two years ago at a cost of about ₹10 crore from taxpayers’ money. This road is a public asset and cannot be kept unused or effectively left for the exclusive benefit or usage of a private builder. Construction of the Shivpuri–Chitrapuri route via Jana Chaitanya Colony to provide an additional alternative corridor and reduce pressure on the existing road network. Shifting of the RTA Office from Shivpuri Colony, as its present location contributes to traffic congestion and inconvenience to residents. Immediate shifting of all electrical poles obstructing the carriageway and footpaths, ensuring safe and unobstructed movement for pedestrians and vehicles. Utilisation of all available setbacks for road-widening purposes, wherever legally permissible, instead of allowing them to be used as commercial parking spaces that further reduce the effective road width. The residents demand that all these measures be implemented within a clearly defined, time-bound action plan, with responsibility fixed on the concerned authorities. The people of Manikonda have been suffering from this traffic crisis for far too long. Road infrastructure must keep pace with population growth and urban development. Public roads and public assets cannot be allowed to remain underutilised while citizens struggle every day. If the authorities fail to initiate concrete action within a reasonable and time-bound period, the residents will be compelled to launch a mass movement, including a Rasta Roko programme, to draw the attention of the government and ensure their legitimate demands are addressed. Shortly, an Action Committee will be formed to take this issue forward, coordinate with the concerned authorities, and pursue the demands until concrete action is initiated.
