In some cities and states, humans are limited with how much water they can use. Can’t water grass, can’t wash your car, etc. Can’t even catch rain water in some places. But data centers can have as much water as they need. Please make this make sense.

Listen to solutions instead of scare tactics: such as the DATA Act I sponsor, which allows large data centers to pay for their own power generation instead of straining the grid and increasing electricity rates. And the Water Cost Accountability Act would make sure data centers pay the added costs of connecting to and expanding local water systems. Yeah I know, serious legislating doesn’t get as much social media traction as $20 burritos, but at least some people in Congress are still trying to do actual work.
