Remember, patients will see your skin closure for forever so be precise and perfect w it (but do that with rest of surgery as well )

Closing a wound is like the dismount in gymnastics. If you want a perfect 10, you have to perfect the closure. Even if there is pressure to finish (internal or external) don’t rush the closure.

Cross Mattress Suture Technique (or Interrupted Cruciate Suture, Figure of Eight Suture, Cruciate Mattress Suture) , is a simple yet effective technique used to provide strong wound closure with excellent tension distribution. Ideal for skin and subcutaneous tissue, it combines the benefits of vertical mattress sutures with easier placement, minimizing tissue strangulation while everting the wound edges. You look pretty silly now, Chris Martenson. Listen to liars, and you will be misled. Also, I remember when you were on my channel to discuss. Because I do discuss with everyone. Do you remember when you conceded that if it was a fouled bore of an old rifle, it could cause the round to tumble, which could explain the absence of an exit wound and the nature of the wound? Pepperidge Farms remembers. Every accusation hides an admission. Be well!

Fractured knee cap, missing tail … this poor #raccoon had been through a lot! 🦝🩹 Surgery to close the wound where his tail used to be was a success. With treatment, his knee cap is expected to fully heal. The curious patient is already climbing and exploring with ease!

Meanwhile, this was Baba ijesha Begging profusely when he was caught. He said Princess should forgive me and she doesn’t deserve any of that and it’s a spiritual issue. He never denied it! God will judge Biola bayo for trying to open that woman’s wound again

I love having work experience students in with me & I especially love it when they help do my job for me 😆 Seriously though - well done to Maeve, Jess & Chloe for crafting such excellent questions to put to the panel who undertook the independent review in to Education 🙌

George McCaskey will probably get some hate for this, but he’s 100% right… “Well I heard a lot about ‘Bear weather’ back in January when this team from Southern California was gonna come in here and we’re gonna expose them to Bear weather, and they wound up with the W.”

Jesus makes an incredible promise about prayer. He says, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7). Wait—ask what I desire and it will be done? What does that really mean? I break it down in this short video, and it’s well worth the watch.

So many ask me about my own dog Hank and his back story. This huge big boy was abandoned on the streets with a wound full of maggots. He now acts as the therapy dog for the sick female patients who come in. Including his new sister Chance ❤️

WATCH: “Why are you so mad, man? Chill out. You seem really tightly wound… You’re a state rep, you should be able to answer questions.” MEMPHIS Representative John Gillespie got snippy when we asked about Elon Musk’s xAI “indefinitely pausing” a water treatment plant they promised to build. (After pushback they now say they will eventually build it — with no timetable🤔)

Today, I’m going to give you ten years of therapy in two minutes. I'm a brain surgeon, and I'm gonna show you how to make rapid progress in healing the wounds you’ve been carrying; the ones from childhood, from broken relationships, from things said that can’t be unsaid, and from things done that can’t be undone. Let's scrub in and get it done. Here's a Fact: Your Wound Lives in Your Brain, But Your Healing Lives in Your Mind When something hurts you, your brain stores it. The sights, the sounds, the sting of the words, the shape of the moment. That storage is real and physical. But here’s where the hope of healing lies: your brain doesn’t get the final vote on what that memory means to you. Your mind does. And your mind is not the same thing as your brain. Neuroscience nugget: Emotional memories get encoded in circuits involving the amygdala and hippocampus, but each time you recall a memory, it becomes temporarily unstable and gets rewritten via a process called reconsolidation. That means every time you revisit a wound, you have a fresh chance to change how it’s stored. Self-Brain Surgery Procedure: The next time an old wound surfaces, don’t just relive it. Instead, reframe it while it’s “open.” Ask: What is the truest, most redemptive way to understand this moment now? Speak that new understanding out loud before you let the memory close back up. Scripture: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3, NIV This is self-brain surgery. Hard and holy work. Follow me to connect neuroscience and scripture every day. Save this to help when you need to heal. Share it with a friend who's hurting. Click the link in my bio to learn more about The Life-Changing Art of Self-Brain Surgery, my NYT bestselling book. #selfbrainsurgery #neuroscience #neuroplasticity #grief #healing

I am proud to give you the second chapter of One Assassination Under God. This completes my story. I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget. One Assassination Under God - Chapter 2, will be released August 14th. Pre-order available now. “Exit Wound” music video out now. Video by RIZZ and Gretchen Lanham
