Design files in git is such an obvious-in-hindsight move. No more 'final_v2_actually_final.fig' files floating around. Really curious how the parallel design agents work - are they iterating on variations simultaneously?

yes, they run at the same time, you can run as many "chats" as you want and we are working on ways to make them create full flows in parallel

Already playing in cursor. I can imagine this being my go to production tool. Any best practices for bringing existing Figma design systems over? Just figma MCP? Does Pencil recreate my design system? If so, does it stay true or also invent patterns? Many questions but excited to dig in

You can just copy paste to pencil from figma, might need to do some tweaks, but mostly it does pretty good job

-How does it work with custom fonts? (names came in from Figma but fonts don't load.) -What's my ideal workflow from designing an artboard -> getting that into my react app? Do I design a component in .pen and export? Have cursor recreate in my project? Am I thinking about this wrong? 😅
