The town of Ayn Issa remains under SDF control despite continuous assault and bombardment by the SNA. In the rest of the governorate, the SDF has withdrawn to Hasakah or continues to withdraw, and fighting continues in Raqqa. Following the uprising of tribal groups, the governorate capital was taken pending the arrival of the STG, which happened later. However, pockets of SDF resistance continue to skirmish with the militants while receiving support from Division 17 Army Base and other military outposts north of Raqqa.
