SDF Statement: "For the past three days, our forces have been coordinating with the so-called International Coalition to transfer ISIS detainees held at al-Aqatan prison in Raqqa to secure locations. Despite repeated promises, the coalition has taken no concrete action. During ongoing clashes with Damascus-aligned factions attacking the prison, our forces continued their duty to secure the facility and prevent a security breakdown. As of this statement, nine of our fighters have been killed and twenty wounded. Fighting is still ongoing under extremely dangerous conditions." Video shows smoke rising from inside al-Aqatan prison north of Raqqa province as clashes continue between Jolani’s gangs and SDF militias. SDF says, despite repeated assurances, the International Coalition has yet to take any practical steps to relocate ISIS prisoners from al-Aqatan prison.

#Syria: today, the Government released ~400 #SDF/#YPG members, while SDF freed ~90 people detained over their support for the Revolution Around 1,500 detainees were released so far under the 29th January agreement, with only a few remaining (common criminals excluded) according to the Presidential envoy. The next phase will involve the handover of SDF prisons to the Interior Ministry. Efforts are also ongoing to determine the fate of missing persons.
