🚨BREAKING: HORRIFIC STORY DEVELOPING🚨 A neighbor’s cellphone video captured the shocking moment he confronted an Anson woman after discovering her 22-year-old daughter, who has severe mental and physical disabilities, confined inside a large chain-link dog kennel in the backyard, covered by a tarp. Kandy Thompson, the girl’s adoptive mother, was later arrested and booked into the Jones County Jail on a felony charge of injury to a child/elderly/disabled person. According to the Anson Police Department, the ordeal began Saturday when the neighbor heard prolonged, distraught screaming coming from Thompson’s property and called 911 to request a welfare check. When officers arrived, they allegedly witnessed Thompson mistreating her daughter, who remained locked inside the outdoor enclosure. Oklahoma State is very lucky they were able to get a handful of their younger players to campus, and Brock Thompson is at the top of that list. That's not my opinion, that comes from folks who know a lot more about this than I do. He has the potential to have great "bat-to-ball" skills while also hitting the ball fairly consistently above 100 mph. His approach has been centered on hitting the ball hard, and hitting line drives, which still is, and will always be THE MOST successful ball off of any bat. Hard-hit Line Drives will always be the king, that will never change, and that's Brock Thompson. He has a treasure trove of tools in his bag that very few have, not an exaggeration. Again, that's coming from people who know this stuff a lot better than I do! #GoPokes #OkState

1. CDC scientists colluded to cover up a relationship between the timing of the MMR vaccine and autism in African Americans that was first discovered in November of 2001. Rather than reporting the results to the public, all data regarding this relationship were destroyed at a secret meeting held some time in August/September of 2002. This fact has been affirmed via an affidavit given by Dr. Thompson to Rep. Bill Posey in September, 2014. 2. Dr. Thompson attempted to warn the CDC Director at the time, Dr. Julie Gerberding, regarding this relationship, prior to the February 2004 Institute of Medicine meeting on vaccines and autism. Rather than allowing Dr. Thompson to present the information at this meeting, Dr. Gerberding replaced him as a speaker with Dr. Frank Destefano, current director of the CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, where he presented fraudulent results regarding the MMR vaccine and autism. Dr. Thompson was put on administrative leave and was threatened that he would be fired due to “insubordination.” 3. When Dr. Thompson attempted to leave the CDC later that same year, he was given a $24,000 retention bonus. Dr. Thompson’s impression of the timing of this bonus, in light of disciplinary actions taken against him earlier that year, is that CDC officials were “buying his silence” through controlling his actions as a CDC employee. 4. Dr. Thompson has published two papers linking thimerosal exposure in infant vaccines to tics in boys (Thompson et al. 2007 and Barile et al. 2012). CDC fraudulently maintains on their website that “There is no evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site.” ( The tic result was also affirmed in the earlier CDC publication by Verstraeten et al. (2003) and the Andrews et al. (2004) publication. 5. CDC pressured Dr. Thompson to downplay the tic result of his analysis in his 2007 paper. He was instructed to deemphasize the tic result by the CDC’s Chief Science Officer, Dr. Tanja Popovic, by emphasizing that the “major finding of the study” was “there is NO associations (sic) of thimerosal exposure with the great majority of the outcomes.” Dr. Popovic also instructed Dr. Thompson to interpret any negative outcomes as “chance findings.” 6. CDC also pressured Dr. Thompson to withhold publication of his 2012 paper which reported a relationship between thimerosal and tics. Dr. Ed Travathan, head of the CDC’s National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, stated in an April 27, 2009 memo to him that the analysis was sound except for the tic results and that they should be omitted from the publication. Since the tic result was the only result that had a consistent negative relationship with thimerosal exposure, it seemed that Dr. Thompson’s superiors were specifically concerned that thimerosal’s safety and use not be questioned. The CEO of one of the country's largest healthcare companies, UnitedHealthcare, was shot and killed in what police are calling a "premeditated, targeted attack" outside a Manhattan hotel on Wednesday morning. What's the deal: According to police, the shooting occurred today at approximately 6:44 AM when UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was walking toward the New York Hilton Midtown hotel to attend an investor conference scheduled to start at 8 AM. Surveillance footage showed the gunman arriving on foot about five minutes earlier and waiting along the building line as pedestrians passed by. As Thompson crossed the street, the suspect approached from behind and shot him in the back, continuing to fire after Thompson fell. The shooter's pistol was fitted with a silencer, which some witnesses say they didn't hear as he shot Thompson. At 6:46 AM, officers responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting and found Thompson on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to his back and leg. Paramedics transported him to Mount Sinai West, where he was pronounced dead at 7:12 AM. VIDEO: Woman who threw speeding ticket toward Hurst Police officer brings complaint to city council FOX 4 NEWS ... HURST, Texas - A Hurst woman and the local police department are telling different sides of a story involving a traffic stop and a thrown speeding ticket. On Jan. 16, Taneisha Thompson was stopped by a Hurst police officer after allegedly speeding in a school zone. Hurst Police released body camera footage of the incident on Tuesday. In the video, an officer issues Thompson a traffic citation after a brief conversation. Thompson is seen throwing the ticket back at the officer, who then placed Thompson under arrest with the help of another officer. Officers pulled Thompson out of her car and onto the ground before arresting her. Thompson's child was present in the passenger seat of the vehicle at the time of the incident. Thompson has hired civil rights attorney Lee Merritt as she considers legal action against the Hurst Police Department. She says she suffered a black eye, a lip injury that required stitches and several bruises on her body from the incident. Thompson read a statement to reporters on Tuesday evening during a press conference before sharing her story with Hurst City Council. "I am here today because this is bigger than me—this is about all of us. It is about ensuring de-escalation, about prioritizing the safety of every citizen, so that no one else endures what I did. I am deeply grateful for all the support I have received from around the world—this is a call for justice, for humanity, and for safety. I will not be silenced," part of Thompson's statement read. Merritt answered questions during the presser. When asked about Thompson's throwing of the ticket, Merritt said: "I tell my clients, I tell the public in general, it’s not best to litigate a case on the side of the road. If you’re upset about a police encounter, hold your peace, hire an attorney, file a complaint with the police department later." He also stated: "I let the public know, just because this is the law, that you actually have every right to be rude to law enforcement. Not best practice, but you have every right to be rude." Hurst Police are standing by the officer. "Corporal Morgan acted in full accordance with the law and with our department’s policies and the department stands firmly behind his actions," Hurst Police Chief Billy Keadle said. The department conducted an investigation into the incident after Thompson filed a formal complaint claiming excessive use of force. The investigation determined the claims were unfounded. Alex del Carmen, a criminologist at Tarleton State University, viewed the footage and said the officer's actions were lawful. "What I said after reviewing the entire footage was that the woman was very disrespectful of the office during the entire exchange. Further, that the officer, up to the point of handing the ticket to her, was very respectful, professional and showed restraint," del Carmen said. "However, when the woman threw the citation out the window, the officer had the choice of either giving her another citation for loitering, ignoring it, or asking another officer to step in. Instead, he chose to issue a verbal command for the woman to get out of the vehicle, and she refused." "At that point, the officer used physical force. Although this was awful, it is lawful, for the woman refused to get out of the vehicle and ignored the officer’s commands."

In the video, an officer issues Thompson a traffic citation after a brief conversation. Thompson is seen throwing the ticket back at the officer, who then placed Thompson under arrest with the help of another officer. Officers pulled Thompson out of her car and onto the ground before arresting her. Thompson's child was present in the passenger seat of the vehicle at the time of the incident. Thompson has hired civil rights attorney Lee Merritt as she considers legal action against the Hurst Police Department. She says she suffered a black eye, a lip injury that required stitches and several bruises on her body from the incident. Thompson read a statement to reporters on Tuesday evening during a press conference before sharing her story with Hurst City Council. "I am here today because this is bigger than me—this is about all of us. It is about ensuring de-escalation, about prioritizing the safety of every citizen, so that no one else endures what I did. I am deeply grateful for all the support I have received from around the world—this is a call for justice, for humanity, and for safety. I will not be silenced," part of Thompson's statement read. Merritt answered questions during the presser. When asked about Thompson's throwing of the ticket, Merritt said: "I tell my clients, I tell the public in general, it’s not best to litigate a case on the side of the road. If you’re upset about a police encounter, hold your peace, hire an attorney, file a complaint with the police department later." He also stated: "I let the public know, just because this is the law, that you actually have every right to be rude to law enforcement. Not best practice, but you have every right to be rude." Hurst Police are standing by the officer. "Corporal Morgan acted in full accordance with the law and with our department’s policies and the department stands firmly behind his actions," Hurst Police Chief Billy Keadle said. The department conducted an investigation into the incident after Thompson filed a formal complaint claiming excessive use of force. The investigation determined the claims were unfounded. Alex del Carmen, a criminologist at Tarleton State University, viewed the footage and said the officer's actions were lawful. "What I said after reviewing the entire footage was that the woman was very disrespectful of the office during the entire exchange. Further, that the officer, up to the point of handing the ticket to her, was very respectful, professional and showed restraint," del Carmen said. "However, when the woman threw the citation out the window, the officer had the choice of either giving her another citation for loitering, ignoring it, or asking another officer to step in. Instead, he chose to issue a verbal command for the woman to get out of the vehicle, and she refused." "At that point, the officer used physical force. Although this was awful, it is lawful, for the woman refused to get out of the vehicle and ignored the officer’s commands."

Florida State’s Kam Taylor is one of the best returners in the 2027 NBA Draft and has the potential to be a lottery pick. The 6’7 guard had a breakout sophomore season for UNC Asheville where he averaged 19/5/3 and was one of the best mid major players in the country. Taylor’s mix of athleticism, finishing, shooting upside, playmaking, motor, defensive upside, and shot creation at his height and age gives him one of the highest ceilings in next year’s class Taylor is one of the best athletes in the country at 6’7 who has a 46 inch vertical and an elite quick first step, and he uses his athleticism to his advantage to be a highly versatile scorer. Taylor’s mix of athleticism, pace, finishing, and craft helped him be one of the most efficient PNR players in the country where he finished in the 90th percentile on 103 attempts. Taylor’s skill in the PNR helped him consistently play PG for UNC Asheville where he provided a lot of versatility as a shot creator and playmaker. Taylor was an extremely skilled driver at the rim who shot 59% at the rim on 188 attempts and is also elite at drawing fouls, he’s also good at using his rim pressure and scoring to create open shots for his teammates as a playmaker. Taylor is also a strong mid range scorer who is a good tough shot maker and has great touch on his floaters. Taylor also shot 35% from three in conference play on 5 attempts a game and has an extremely quick jumper. Taylor transferred to Florida State where he has the chance to be one of the biggest breakout prospects in next year’s draft class.
