Fable 5 is BACK on AI/ML API We gave Sonnet 5 and Fable 5 the exact same prompt and same real flight dataset of 70 airports and 435 routes pulled from flightradar. Then asked each one to turn it into a cinematic 3D globe as a single HTML file. Outputs: Sonnet 5: 9.8k tokens, $0.10 Fable 5: 15k tokens, $0.77 Sonnet 5 came in 87% cheaper. It drew the routes, but the planet underneath them barely exists: a dark wireframe with the arcs floating in space. Fable 5 built an actual Earth: textured oceans, ice caps, atmospheric glow. Mythos-class models are truly a masterpiece. Docs, guides & setup below:

Kimi K3 vs Fable 5. Same prompt and reference. 3D globe dashboard. Kimi left, Fable right. To me, Kimi's UI fidelity is a touch better. The globe looks better too, with richer textures and smoother motion. This task: ~$3 with Kimi, ~$15 with Fable. I'd pick Kimi k3 for frontend work.

I open-sourced the Sylva three.js site and the skills behind it. I started with one reference and asked Opus 5 to recreate it in Three.js as a single HTML file (looped for 2 hours). The moss root is procedural geometry with around 130,000 instanced blades, and all the code is under 1 MB. I re-ran my Fable 5 3D dashboard demo with GLM-5.2. Same prompt. Same reference image. The result is actually pretty solid: 3D globe, route arcs, glass panels, stats cards, and a usable demo page. It is not at Fable 5 level yet, especially in visual precision and one-shot polish. But GLM-5.2 is accessible to all GLM Coding Plan users now. If you’re curious, it’s worth trying. i tried Opus 5.0 vs Fable 5 Max. Claude Opus 5.0 is quite the AGI beast in 3D, the texture and details are absolutely insane. Fable one shotted this though, could be improved. credit to Chetaslua for the Opus 5 code.

More realistic example of a one shotted game. Asked Fable 5 to recreate a game in the style of The Elder Scrolls 5 Morrowind. It one shotted quests, currencys and fighting, journal and minimap. And it worked.

Found my lost childhood game — and rebuilt it in 3D with Fable 5 + Godot. AirXonix — one of the first games I ever played. My sister and I wore it out on a single PC. Nostalgia hit hard. So I gave Claude Fable 5 the full toolbox: Godot MCP + Blender MCP + APIs for textures, 3D models, SFX, even the music. The whole pipeline in one chat. Honestly? More fun than I've had in months. Kimi K3 took a bit longer than Fable 5 to generate, but came in ~1/3 cheaper on the 1st test, and less than half the cost on the 2nd. Interestingly, Kimi K3 handled the details at the same level as Fable 5 on the original creation, yet it wasn't at Fable's level for the pixel style. It did not just make a working page. The texture, lighting, spacing, depth, glass panels, and overall layout were all close to the reference. Some parts felt nearly pixel-level.

BUT OMG... the output geniuinly has fable 5 level magic built into it, this model falls between gpt 5.6 and fable 5 imo. you can play the game at kimisurfers (dot) com right now, and see what I mean. This model is too expensive to replace fable 5, BUTT it shows that the chinese open source labs are CATCHING anthropic and open ai FASTTT.
