This is great! For a little extra boost if you want to cut the time of your cold in half, start taking NAC and Zinc immediately. NAC helps break up mucus in the lungs and reduce inflammation while Zinc will help boost your immune system to fight off the cold! I recommend 600mg of NAC every 5 hours while awake and 50mg of Zinc daily!

A cold isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a battle. Your body is fighting, and the right herbs can turn the tide in your favor. But forget the usual remedies—let’s go deeper. 🌿 HERBAL STRATEGY FOR FASTER RECOVERY: 🔥 Andrographis – The “King of Bitters” shortens colds, kills viruses, and stops excessive mucus before it takes over. 🌲 Usnea (Old Man’s Beard) – A potent antiviral & lung protector that works where antibiotics fail. 🌿 Elecampane Root – Not just for coughs—clears deep lung congestion, boosts oxygen flow, and calms inflammation. 🍄 Reishi + Cordyceps – Immune adaptogens that keep your body from overreacting to the virus while restoring strength faster. 🧂 Salt & Turmeric Gargle – Kills throat infections at the source, not just soothes symptoms. 💀 They push quick-fix meds. It's great you're looking deeper into the cause of colds! Your immune system is working hard to fight the virus, which leads to those uncomfortable symptoms. Focus on nourishing your body with nutrient-dense foods like fruits, veggies, and hydration to support recovery!

If I had a favorite tea for when I’m sick, this one is it. Every single time I make this it helps immediately. Some of the many benefits of this Apple Ginger Tea: 🍎 Organic Apple: Simmered apples in tea offer health benefits by releasing pectin, a type of soluble fiber, which supports gut health and acts as a prebiotic, encouraging the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. Additionally, apples contain quercetin, an antioxidant known for its anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties, which may help reduce the severity of cold symptoms. 🫚Ginger:Ginger contains gingerol, a bioactive compound with strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Studies suggest it can reduce respiratory inflammation, ease sore throats, and relieve nausea by calming the stomach and aiding digestion. 🌿Mint: Fresh mint leaves contain menthol, which can act as a natural decongestant, easing breathing and soothing sore throats. Mint’s antibacterial properties also support respiratory health, while its soothing effect on the digestive system can relieve stomach discomfort often accompanying colds. 🧄Cloves: High in eugenol, cloves possess antibacterial and antiviral properties that help combat respiratory infections and support immune function. Eugenol is also an effective antioxidant, helping reduce oxidative stress during illness. 🌱Cinnamon Stick: Cinnamon is packed with cinnamaldehyde, an anti-inflammatory compound that has been shown to fight off bacteria and fungi. Its antioxidant content helps protect cells from damage, while its warming effect can promote circulation, which may help the body recover faster. Each of these ingredients contributes to a powerful, health-supporting tea that’s both soothing and effective during cold season! Here’s what you’ll need: ✨2 inches of Fresh Ginger ✨3-4 Cloves ✨1-2 Organic Apple, core removed and cut into large pieces (about 1.5 cups cut apples) ✨1 Cinnamon Stick ✨4 cups Water ✨2-3 Fresh Mint Sprigs Optional Add-ins ✨1 tablespoon Fresh Mint Tea ✨2-3 tablespoon Sea Moss Gel ✨1-2 teaspoon Manuka Honey Bring the ingredients to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!

🔥 Fire Cider 🔥 Now is the time to start preparing your remedies so they’ll be ready for cold and flu season! Fire cider is a powerful immune-boosting, digestive-supporting, energy-giving, circulation-stimulating, respiratory-clearing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant tonic. Here's my recipe for fire cider using a half-gallon mason jar: Ingredients: - 1 red onion 🧅 - 1 large orange 🍊 - 1 lemon 🍋 - 1 head of garlic 🧄 - 2 ½ jalapeños 🌶 - ½ tsp cayenne pepper 🌶 - 1 tsp peppercorns - 10 cloves - 1 bunch of rosemary 🌿 - 1 bunch of thyme 🌱 - 1 handful of ginger 🫚 - ½ tsp turmeric - 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks - Organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (ACV). If you can’t find this, use any apple cider vinegar you have access to. Instructions: 1. Chop your produce and add it to your mason jar as you go. 🍶 2. Add the rosemary, thyme, peppercorns, dried cayenne peppers, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. 3. Fill your jar to the top with ACV. 🍎 4. Place a sheet of parchment paper between the jar and the lid to prevent the ACV from corroding the metal lid. If using a plastic lid, you can skip this step. 5. Let your fire cider sit on the counter or in the pantry for 4-6 weeks, gently shaking it daily. 🕰 6. Open the lid every couple of days to check the level of your ACV. If it’s not filled to the top, add more ACV. 7. After 4-6 weeks, strain the mixture and squeeze all the cider from the produce. 8. Optionally, add honey 🍯, maple syrup 🍁, agave, or your preferred sweetener. You can take a tablespoon each morning 🌞 or use it when you’re feeling under the weather, taking it 2-3 times a day. 🌿💧
