Today I'm helping showcase a new ninja tool viewer website made by Yeo 𒉭 with feedback provided by me. This website is to help Naruto Storm Connections players so they'll never have to run onto the game because they didn't have those in the moment answers they were in need of on a character's ninja tool capabilities. The video gives you a simulation of the in game character select where you can sort through character iterations, view each ninja tool set a character possesses, select an item to get a partial match for who is able to use it in game, see the details of each item and their cooldown times.

NEW updates to the Chase Archive 1/ Evolution of soundings over time: scroll through the slider to watch how the environment evolves through the morning and afternoon up to the event. This initial rollout will only include the priority cases (marked with an orange dot 🟠) 2/ New map: we now offer a cases view (which is the new default) and the original heatmap view which you can toggle on the top-right of the map pane. You can also choose to show counties. I found a new way of getting out the map on poolday: You need to time a crouch jump perfectly while the map is transitioning to the 1.6 version, if you jump too early you will die to a trigger_hurt if its too late you wont jump high enough to clip through the glass, while you are on top of the map there is no clipping stopping you from jumping out so you can either jump down landing in water or edgebug on the bin to survive the fall and explore the outside of the cs2 version of the map

One last(?) tweak to the automap shader - switched to using the screen position vs world position for determining which parts of the map to fade out, so you can always see your player/focal point no matter the angle, which is a huge help on vertically stacked maps #gamedev

Sparse Volumetric Light maps (WebGPU). Worked on ensuring C0 continuity across the entire map. For now this is achieved by purging incomplete node levels, works well enough even if it's a bit of a blunt tool. Actual locations for probes during the bake are now going through an optimization phase, which allows me to push probes behind surfaces out into the open resulting in much fewer light leakage artifacts. This video here has only 28,376 probes in the map, and takes 1.8Mb of VRAM

#5 You can't steal any cars and you can only enter from the left side of the car There's only one animation to enter the car and that's from the left side, during some in-game missions you aren't even allowed to get out of the car and explore the open world like this one here, I tried getting out of the car to walk on foot but the game didn't allow me to. This is because the Open World of MindsEye is extremely restricted, the Game doesn't want you do explore so it either forces you to move from point A to point B with a timer and most of the times it asks you to enter a car and you can't get out of it once you're inside the vehicle.

These slots allows you to click and change them to any holdable item, treasure charts, or equipped weapons/spirit weapons/magic. Pouches can also be found in spots hidden around the map, or obtained from quests. Currently there are 18 pouches in total, 7 from quests and 11 from exploring, allowing you to have 20 tool wheel slots total. I made this tool 4 years ago for helping with customer support emails. Instead of typing, it allows you to compose an email by dragging from predefined blocks with variables. So you only write your blocks once, and then you only combine them with drag and drop into an email. You can also save a set of email blocks as a template. When you choose that template, it lets you fill the variables of the template like a form, and then send it. We only use it internally and now with all the gpt stuff going on it seems pointless to release it. or is it? 🤔
