This exchange was yesterday in the committee Of Public Safety and National Security. Lena Diab admits the IRGC member made it to Canada and then was put back on a plane back to Iran. She also just like Carney says she can’t comment on this specific case? What is going on? Diab also refuses to answer what type of permit was issued to allow this person to get on a plane in the first place. Unbelievably she admits that she is accountable for this.

For the third time, I questioned the Immigration Minister on the cost of using hotel rooms in key economic zones for asylum claimants. Now we know that thousands of foreign students who were here fraudulently are claiming asylum, and the government has allowed municipalities to actually purchase hotels in Ottawa and Pickering for claimants. Lena Metlege Diab not only didn't seem to understand what was happening, but her Deputy Minister tried to rescue her from her own incompetence. She needs to be fired.

In May 2026, when NEET was conducted, about 22.05 lac students appeared for the exam, which fell to 19.99 lac students, when it was conducted in June 2026, a drop of 2.05 lac students. When such incidents happen, the most to suffer is the fairer gender, the girls. Travel, trouble, trauma – all accompany being a girl in India. While 99,083 boys did not appear for the exam, the girls who did not appear is 180.862 students. Historically, the registered to appeared students is about 97%. In Re-NEET, it was 12.28%; a jump of 400% of those who did not appear. Would some one be held accountable for robbing 2.05 lac students? Any guilt? Ant repercussion of institutional failure? Or the burden only with students? A Proud Indian!

The UGC NET exam was held on 18th June 2024 and cancelled next day. About 9.18 lac students took the exam. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination centre (I4C) disclosed that the exam paper was available on dark web on 27th June, a day before the exam day. The MoE confirmed that exam paper was being sold for Rs.5000 on telegram channels a day before the exam date. The CBI concluded there was no actual paper leak and filed a closure report. The entire episode was traced back to a school student who doctored a screenshot of the genuine UGC-NET question paper from 18 June 2024, backdating it to 17 June, to give the impression he had obtained it a day before the exam. The UGC NET 2024 was conducted all over again because I4C and MoE raised a false alarm to cancel an exam. And 9 lac students suffered!!
