The cap is set at approximately 364,000 study permits for 2024. 🍁 The cap excludes master's, doctorate, and elementary and secondary... students. 🍁 There is no change for current study permit holders. Criticizing him for his stance then is fair, but a more productive question now is: What happened to those students and other temporary foreign workers? Have they been deported to India, or are they still here out of status and therefore in Canada illegally, taking away jobs from Canadians?
