Activists say he was intentionally moved far away from his lawyers and family, and that his due process is being violated. But clearly, wherever the state puts him, he will have supporters nearby.

The 41-year-old Afghan immigrant was detained while preparing to take his children to school and died the next day at a Dallas hospital.
