Just curious , is it able to go higher altitudes temporarily to hop over obstructions like Bridges etc or does it need to stay on ground effect the whole time

This full-scale flight test successfully tested a multitude of key systems needed to safely launch the capsule to 100,000 ft (30,480 m) and bring it back in a controlled descent to ocean splashdown.
