Not only this week. It used to be for 40 days till the holiday the Ascension. In the villages this custom to greet this way instead of "Good morning" preserves. Not in the cities anymore, but still it is longer.

For all civilians who work every day to make the country strong and efficient in overcoming evil forces. For all of our cities and villages, which deserve God's blessing rather than constant evil terror. For all of our lands and people, whose spirit is unbreakable. Evil may have its hour, but God will have His day. This is one of the meanings enshrined in the story of Christ. Of His earthly suffering and death – and of His resurrection, and the truth that sooner or later, yet inevitably, evil will retreat, and life will triumph. That is what we have wanted for all 1,152 days. We are united in this. Every day – and especially today, when Ukrainians of all Christian denominations celebrate Easter on the same date. Together. We fight for Ukraine together. And we pray for Ukraine together. May evil’s hour end. May the day of life arrive. The day of peace. The day of Ukraine. The day that lasts for centuries. For the second time, we celebrate Christmas on the same date as one big family, one country. For the second time in modern history, Christmas unites all Ukrainians. Today, we stand side by side. And we will not be lost. Whether in person or in our minds, we will greet each other, call our parents, kiss our children, hug our loved ones, and remember those we hold dear. In person, from afar, or in our hearts – Ukrainians are together today. And as long as we do this, evil has no chance. This unity and warmth toward one another embody the true spirit of Christmas – the unique atmosphere we will preserve within ourselves and share with those around us. With everyone we love. Jesus rescued me from the street through the Born Again Christian movement. I lived as an Evangelical before returning to the Catholic Church, and I know the faith there is real because I lived it. But Christ did not leave a movement, He built the Catholic Church. I will defend Rome without compromise and confront what is being done to it from within. Strong priests are pushed out, weakness is tolerated, and the faithful are left without clarity or leadership. Strong Catholic men, priests, husbands, and fathers will restore her, and the Holy Family is the standard. There is an intellectual civil war being fought between Catholics and Protestants. Baptised Catholics who walk away from the true Church often claim they have “seen the light.” But let’s be clear, that is not the light. No failure of a priest. No scandal of a bishop. Not even the weakness of a Pope is ever a justification to abandon the Catholic Church. The truth is this: you don’t leave Christ because of Judas. The Catholic Church is not built on the perfection of men. it is built on Christ Himself and sustained by the Eucharist. Those who truly understand and value the Eucharist do not walk away from it. Call it what it is, not “seeing the light,” but turning away from it. Leaving the Catholic Church is synonymous with turning away from the Light.

Israel is pressuring the Greek Orthodox Church out of its land in Jerusalem. It is also pressuring the Roman Catholic & Armenian churches. In December 2022, Israeli settlers seize land owned by Greek Orthodox Church in Jerusalem reported by the Greek City Times & The Athens Bureau. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate issued a public statement against the actions. This happened previously in 2017 as well. However as of recently, Israel has imposed new taxes to pressure the Orthodox Christians out of the land there.
