For engineers like Patrick, our Groves isotope test reactor is proof that advanced nuclear can be built differently. Built from the ground up in less than a year and on track to reach criticality this month, Groves is demonstrating a faster, more repeatable path to deployment. Hear Patrick describe... show more

In the past 90 days, insider selling reached a record high of 9 cases, and short selling was 22%. Why on earth are you doing this without any consideration of defending the company’s stock price?

This company constantly promotes only how fast they made it. There’s nothing else to boast about. Do you play speedrunning games?

WE HAVE CRITICALITY! Oklo has completed first criticality at its Groves Isotope Test Reactor. Built in less than a year under the U.S. Department of Energy’s Reactor Pilot Program, Groves offers a concrete blueprint for future advanced nuclear deployment as the fastest fully privately financed and built reactor project of its kind. Today, Oklo proves that advanced reactors can be built, started, and operated faster than anyone thought possible and shows the world that America can build nuclear again.

BIG NEWS: Oklo's Groves isotope test reactor has cleared U.S. Department of Energy's final major safety approval. With the Documented Safety Analysis approved, Groves now enters the final phase before startup, including DOE's readiness review, fuel loading, and criticality in July. Less than a year after breaking ground, Groves is demonstrating that advanced reactors can be built on privately owned land with commercially sourced fuel, equipment, and systems. As the first project to reach this milestone under DOE's Reactor Pilot Program, it provides a blueprint for future commercial deployment. Read more:

Carla is Oklo’s Technical Advisor, with 30 years of experience building and operating nuclear infrastructure. Today, she's helping rebuild America's domestic supply of isotopes, starting with Oklo's Groves Isotope Test Reactor, a project that will expand domestic isotope production while demonstrating a faster, more scalable approach to advanced nuclear deployment. Hear, in her own words, why this work is so meaningful.

Reaching criticality at Groves was a major milestone. It was also just the beginning. In less than a year, Oklo built our Groves Isotope Test Reactor from the ground up and brought it to criticality, demonstrating our ability to move from design to operation on a timeline few thought possible. What we learned extends far beyond Groves. The project gave our team hands-on experience across engineering, construction, regulatory execution, startup, and operations that we can apply as we advance projects across power, fuel, and isotopes. Now, we're putting that experience to work as we build toward commercial scale. That includes targeting our first commercial isotope revenue in early 2027 through our NRC-licensed Idaho Radioisotope Laboratory, while advancing our power and fuel projects toward deployment. Groves demonstrated our ability to build, learn, and repeat. Now, we're doing it across the business.

Two sites. Two reactors. One integrated nuclear platform. Idaho National Lab, construction is advancing on Oklo’s first commercial Aurora powerhouse, bringing clean, reliable power closer to reality. Our team and Kiewit have excavated enough material to fill 20 Olympic swimming pools in preparation for the reactor foundation. In Texas, our Groves isotope test reactor is approaching criticality. Groves is helping Oklo develop the experience, supply chains, and capabilities needed to make advanced nuclear deployment faster and more repeatable. This is what deployment looks like. Watch the latest progress.

“By all accounts and measures, this is the fastest-built, privately sited, privately funded, privately built nuclear reactor in world history.” Oklo CEO Jacob DeWitte took CBS Austin’s Walt Maciborski inside of the Groves Isotope Test Reactor, just days after reaching criticality. Built in less than a year, Groves serves as the technical and operational foundation for Oklo’s commercial isotope production, which will help restore America’s supply of critical isotopes for applications in medicine, manufacturing, research, national security, space exploration, and beyond. At our Groves site in Lockhart, Texas, Oklo reached substantial completion of our isotope test reactor in just 229 days and is working toward criticality this July, making it one of the fastest-built reactors since the Manhattan Project. Once operational, Groves will support the production of critical isotopes used across medicine, industry, research, and other essential applications. Go inside Groves with CBS Austin:

GREEN LIGHT FOR STARTUP: U.S. Department of Energy has authorized Oklo’s Groves Isotope Test reactor to begin nuclear operations. This startup authorization clears the facility and team to bring in fuel, run startup tests, and proceed toward first criticality under its startup plan. In just over 10 months , Groves completed engineering, construction, commissioning, development of operating programs, personnel training, and DOE readiness across all core requirements. Oklo chose the harder path to build a repeatable deployment model on private land using commercially procured fuel and equipment so future Aurora powerhouses, isotope facilities, and fuel cycle projects can build on proven deployment capabilities instead of starting from scratch. Lessons from Groves are already informing how we build our other capabilities, demonstrating how advanced nuclear can move faster under DOE’s Reactor Pilot Program while keeping safety front and center. Oklo’s momentum is changing the paradigm of how we build advanced nuclear in the United States. Our Groves isotope test reactor is the only reactor built on privately owned land using commercially sourced fuel, equipment, and systems to receive Documented Safety Analysis approval under the U.S. Department of Energy Reactor Pilot Program. Oklo CEO Jacob DeWitte spoke with Liz Claman on FOX Business about how this project is establishing a new blueprint for how nuclear can scale in America:

At Oklo, our isotope work is personal. Some members of our team have spent decades advancing the technology that shows up in critical moments, from disease diagnosis and cancer care to space exploration. That dedication shows up in how Oklo is built, and shapes how we think about deployment, bringing power, fuel, and isotopes together into a single platform designed to deliver more from nuclear technology. Oklo CEO Jacob DeWitte joined Morning Call to discuss two major milestones for Oklo: startup authorization for our Groves Isotope Test Reactor and our founding membership in Prometheus. Yesterday’s U.S. Department of Energy authorization clears the way to load fuel and bring the fastest privately built reactor of its kind to first criticality. This week, Oklo also joined Prometheus, a DOE-supported initiative led by Idaho National Lab to unleash AI across the nuclear lifecycle. Both of these milestones reflect the momentum behind a new era of nuclear development and the opportunity to use AI to help deliver clean, reliable power more quickly. Watch:

Meet Groves — Oklo's isotopes test reactor, under construction in Texas. Isotopes power some of the most critical technologies in modern medicine, from early cancer detection to targeted therapies that deliver treatment directly to tumors. Millions of Americans depend on them. Nearly all of that supply comes from overseas. Oklo is building here. And we're reaching criticality by July 4th. Stay tuned.
