This is a great initiative and very much appreciated. But the real problem in Thailand is education (which of course is not your respondibility). As long as people keep throwing their rubbish in the waterways nothing will change.

I applaud efforts being made to clean up the garbage in rivers and oceans, but I'm more concerned about what mitigation efforts are being made in the case of river trash, especially from those who contribute the most?

Interceptor deployments are scheduled for the Philippines. 🇵🇭 As part of our 30 Cities Program, we will deploy our first Interceptor in the Meycauayan River in the coming months to prevent trash from flowing into the ocean from the Manila Bay Region.

But what about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch? Alongside the deployment of more Interceptors, this year we will continue running AI and drone tests and advancing our computational modeling to help us locate and map plastic hotspots in the GPGP. The goal: to make ocean operations more efficient. Stay tuned for updates!
