This is a great initiative and very much appreciated. But the real problem in Thailand is education (which of course is not your respondibility). As long as people keep throwing their rubbish in the waterways nothing will change.

Is there any enthusiasm for this in Thailand, either in the population or the government? Or just oblivious indifference? Glad it's happening whichever way.

I applaud efforts being made to clean up the garbage in rivers and oceans, but I'm more concerned about what mitigation efforts are being made in the case of river trash, especially from those who contribute the most?
