I mean, it’s an OK scripting language. We agree! It has some majorly annoying features (V2 to V3 anyone) and then there is the whitespace thingy. So maybe it is numero uno in spite of all that for AI/ML because, lucky libraries! But best programming language? C’mon.

It depends on how you define “best.” My criteria: 1. How easy it is to use. 2. How popular it is. 3. Support for my field (AI/ML) I haven’t found a better language for me yet.

Frameworks like taipy and @streamlit are pretty flexible to get started with inbuilt components, but it comes to customisation of web interfaces for different use-cases then either we have to build our own components using JS. We can't get over HTML, CSS and JS 😅

For “easy or quick prototyping” maybe Python is best, but for performance is Java is better, C++ outperforms Java but C++ is platform dependent. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with you all I am saying is Context matters. E.g Best but under what circumstances & objectives?

#Python is indeed a very good language, eg fast #prototyping of some types of #AI (my field of 40 years). But the “best” language depends on the task (Python is too slow for a #chess engine); the skills and libraries available; & so forth. So sadly there is no “best” language!

Building with AI gets easier every day. Here is an open-source library that makes integrating AI into an application extremely easy: Star the repository! This library alone can make React the best front-end framework out there! There are a bunch of cool things I like about CopilotKit. Here are 3 of them: 1. If you could only learn one thing that will be relevant for the next 10-20 years, focus on learning how to deal with data. The future is not about faster hardware, smarter algorithms, or better ideas. The future is about DATA, and those who know how to deal with it will stay relevant much longer than anyone else. I recorded a video to show you how easy it is to get started. In the video, I'm using Kestra. For a long time, I was a fan of AirFlow. Then, I moved to AWS Step Functions. Today, I only use Kestra. Kestra is open-source (repo link below) and kind enough to sponsor my work. The video will show you how easy it is to do the following: 1. Run Kestra locally (literally, one command) 2. Build a simple flow 3. Run Python scripts as part of your flow 4. Connect to HuggingFace models If you have never built a data pipeline, open Kestra's Quick Start Guide and follow their examples. (I think it will take you one weekend to feel comfortable with the application and build the courage you need to get into more serious work.)

Initially just write the data to a CSV. - Setup an account with Snowflake or Google BigQuery. - update your Python script to load a table in Snowflake/BigQuery - schedule your script with CRON in the cloud with a service like Heroku. - build aggregations and visualizations on top of your ingested data Only thing this misses is data quality and complex job orchestration which you can learn later! How would you learn data engineering nowadays?

MCP now supports authentication using OAuth2. This is huge! I want to share a complete example (code) so you can learn how to use it. MCP now supports authentication using OAuth2. This is huge! I want to share a complete example (code) so you can learn how to use it. Here is the thing: You don't want to build agentic applications that access resources without proper guardrails. With authentication, you can: • Call third-party APIs on the user's behalf • Perform actions that should be traceable • Enforce different permissions for different roles Here is an MCP-based web shop demo, built with WorkOS AuthKit and Next.js. I can search a database with 32 million records in less than 50 milliseconds. This speed is insane! There's no reason your search is slow. There's no reason you aren't using this library when building applications with a lot of data. Take a look at typesense |. It's an open-source search engine. It's crazy fast and easy to use.
