Hate having an over the top move in your golf swing? Here is a drill you can do at home all the time to help get a better hand path. Most golfers keep their arms up way too long in their swing creating steep swings.

👀 Eyes Behind The Ball 👀 When they drift out front, your head pulls, chest flies open, and the barrel cuts across. Stay behind it. See it longer. Work through contact. Head & eyes down. Think see it deep and stay behind it. @westonrandolph23 | Noble 2026 / Hutchinson Blue Dragon Baseball

TYLRR HEINEMAN WITH FASTEST AVERAGE TRANSFER IN MLB This CS was .50 with a pop time of 1.86 & throwing velo of 75.8 Contrary to popular opinion, he does not catch the ball deep & take it up out of his glove. This is true of most all the better throwers, especially those with quick transfers. WHAT THE BEST DO 1) They make 1st contact close to full extension with the glove retreating into scap load as they are catching the pitch. This makes for a more rhythmic & tension free load. They do not catch the ball deep close to their chest protector. 2) The ball & glove separation occurs at the sternum or slightly below. 3) The ball is deflected/dropped/exchanged down out of the glove in to an open & supinated hand & not ripped up out out of the glove to a position behind the head.

Don’t “Lose Space.” Watch how the pelvis stays against the line through contact. This helps create/maintain room for the hitter’s arms to swing down the line of the pitch. If the hitter stands up and the pelvis moves towards the plate, it reduces room for the back elbow.

Luis Arraez and Luis Rengifo are two of the best bat to ball hitters in the game. Notice how they both hold the finish with their heads down on every swing. Super under control and balanced. No spin to the pullside to max out bat speed. Weird.. Video from Frank Valdez

I want parents to really think about this. Imagine paying good money for lessons because you care about your daughter’s long-term development… and the first thing you’re told is that “swinging down isn’t correct.” Instead it’s barrel depth, elite path, and swinging up because “that’s what the pros do.” That’s where development goes backwards. Most young athletes aren’t broken they’re underdeveloped in movement. They don’t understand shoulder angles, how to get on top of the ball, situational hitting, or how the body actually organizes a swing. That’s not their fault. That’s instruction skipping steps. In my cage, athletes do not swing up first. They have to earn the right to swing up by first owning the down. We stay at the top of the zone, learn how to find the down, and teach how the shoulders orient the swing. The up isn’t cued or forced it’s a byproduct of correct movement. What floors me is how often kids, especially in softball, are taught to swing up immediately. How do you start middle-down and swing up in a sport where the ball is traveling on an upward plane? It makes no sense. Baseball and softball mechanics are the same the body doesn’t change. But instruction must start differently because pitch plane is different. Baseball breaks down. Softball rise spins up. If a softball hitter can’t control the down out front, they’ll never handle elite rise. Once control is there, the femur turns down, the torso gets pulled up, and the natural up shows itself. No forcing. No manipulation. I can post videos like this all day. I’m not teaching a “style.” I’m teaching how the body is designed to move. I’m demanding because parents invest real time and money, and I won’t waste either. If you want game swings that hold up to velocity and plane find the down!

Young pitchers can easily assume the path to more velocity is to muscle up—throw harder, spin faster, and force the delivery. That might make the radar-gun number jump, but it doesn’t always make the pitch look faster to the hitter. For young pitchers and the coaches guiding them, the better long-term investment is learning the movement principles that shape the delivery: balance, stride length, direction, and extension. When a pitcher moves efficiently down the mound and releases the ball closer to home plate, the hitter has less time to react—and the pitch can play faster than its measured velocity. That’s why extension matters. Pulling your head away from the target can pull the body out of line, move the release point back, and take away some of that advantage. For every inch your head pulls off, you lose 2 inches of extension. The goal is to stay balanced, move down the target line, and let efficient sequencing deliver the ball out front.

As the ceasefire takes effect, Israeli terrorists spend their time destroying whatever they find inside displaced Palestinians’ homes they occupy behind the agreement line in Gaza. Those homes are then set on fire once they withdraw or reposition.

I came across this clip of Carlos Alcaraz doing this simple but effective drill to help with his ball toss when serving It immediately made me think about how these amazing players in ANY sport don't skip the basics I see it everyday with golf, the recreational golfer isn't willing to do the smallest, most basic things in order to help themselves acheive their goals They say they want one thing but their actions don't show they will achieve it Golfers always want to hit driver as hard as they can, they skip the importance of setting up to the ball correctly, they don't like changing their terrible grip because it "feels weird" Yet the best tennis player on the planet is working on his ball toss in order to ensure he can serve the ball to the best of his abilities It's these 1% efforts that can help you achieve exactly what you want. Don't skip them & when a coach asks you to do them, there's a reason we want you to listen and do them. They are important

Kako and El Achkar are a real dynamic duo. They just seem to find each other. Essendon’s Batman and Robin. Here Caldwell gets the ball inside 50, and Kako and Huss do their thing. And Merrett finishes off the play. I would be stunned if Huss doesn’t line up against the Hawks

It’s clearly visible that Taniya and Mridul’s ball dropped outside the box, while #GauravKhanna𓃵 and Malti’s ball fell inside the box. But in BB19, every contestant is putting in all their effort to make sure Gaurav doesn’t become the captain of #BB19

Alabama Linebacker Drills!!!🚨🚨🚨 - Violent hands, exploding through the hips - Hands tight inside with thumbs up - Great arm extension to create separation - Club the outside shoulder violently - Bring the arm over to get their hands off - Stay low and hit on the rise! (Low to high) - Keep the legs driving through contact - Wrap and punch through the ball - Sprint and go around the cone - Find the ball carrier and pursue inside out - Tag off with both hands on his inside hip Alabama Football Justin Jefferson
