✨ I used + to make an AI video impression of a single day in the 🇳🇱 Dutch colony of New Amsterdam (current day New York) in 1670 I always wanted to see how it'd look in real life and AI just helped me get a little bit closer to that I wrote basic prompts, then asked ChatGPT to expand them, then I put all the generated AI videos together in Final Cut Pro and added background audio from Pixabay, took about 1.5 hours in total for 1.5 min of video

Gemini 3 is the best model at creating animations. It's not even close. Here are the prompts I used for creating these UI animations. You don't need animations everywhere, but there are key places where it can enhance your design: the hero intro, hover interactions, slow content reveal, background effects and navigation transitions. Gemini 3 relies heavily on good prompting, ideally with image or code. Intro + animation on scroll: "Animate when in view: fade in, slide in, blur in, element by element. Use 'both' instead of 'forwards'. Don't use opacity 0. Add a clip animation to the background, column by column using clip-path." Buttons: "Add a 1px border beam animation around the pill-shaped button on hover. " Text animation: "Add a vertical text clip slide down animation letter by letter" Logos looping: "Add a marquis infinite loop slow animation to the logos using alpha mask" Content switching: "Animate the big card to rotate between 3 cards in a loop. Add prev/next arrows to switch between cards." Flashlight on hover: "Add a subtle flashlight effect on hover/mouse position to both background and border of the cards." Casually vibe coded Trevor Noah's latest website "Books" page using Fable 5 😍 I really loved the effects and animations on the website and immediately wanted to see if I could recreate them with AI. Pretty close in just a couple of prompts, isn't it? Everything is built in Three.js with no 3D assets for the books. Claude built the whole thing using pure math and animated it nicely with GSAP. Feels so realistic and close to real book. Pretty fun to see how close you can get to the kind of work agencies charge thousands of dollars for, just by describing what you want :D Live: Code:

This is Enter The Closet My first AI short film made collectively with some of my favorite AI artists and some new faces. I prompted the narrative and asked the AI community to help me visualize the world. This was a fun experimental exercise and I hope to do more in the future. Many tools were used across all 23+ artists including Google Veo 3.1, Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, Sora 2 Pro, Elevenlabs, Topaz, Luma Ray 3, Kling 2.5, Hailuo 2.3 and more... I'll let them chime in on specific tools used.

Building “RAG 2.0” is just making Claude Code running over your filesystem 🤖🗂️ To make this work well, you need to solve three things 1️⃣ Virtualize your filesystem to prevent the agent from messing stuff up. AgentFS by Turso is a nice example of how you can give the agent access to a copy of all your files without messing up your raw data. 2️⃣ Parse unstructured documents like PDFs, pptx, Word into an LLM-ready format. Agentic OCR solutions like LlamaParse can help here 3️⃣ Creating an agentic loop with human-in-the-loop. If you want to control the agent implementation instead of using Claude Code out of the box, you can use LlamaIndex 🦙 workflows to help orchestrate these long-running agent tasks. behind of the karaoke videos 🎤 🐿️ we also did the karaoke content! 🐧 that’s right 🐿️ i went with huening 🐧😆😆😆 🐿️ it was fun 🐿️🐧 it was really fun 🐿️ huening sang 4 songs with sincerity and then went out of control 🦊 really? 🐧 there were a lot of fun songs after that 🐿️ i felt a little bit of a talent gap 🐧 there were a lot of fun songs but they couldn’t be used 🐿️ i felt the talent gap between us 🐧 that’s how you’re supposed to enjoy at a karaoke 🦊 i feel like going to the karaoke with kai would be fun 🐧 i never sing ballads, i always sing 🐿️🐧 dance songs 🐧 i sang a ballads and it wasn’t fun so i sang dance songs in the second half 🦊 you need to sing a ballad when you get exhausted from having a lot of fun (singing upbeat songs) 🐧 exactly, you’re supposed to sprinkle them in 🦊 when you want to sit down 🐰 i’m usually the type to stay seated while i go to karaoke rooms with my friends, i don’t love going to the karaoke either so i don’t go a lot 🐧 i don’t really like them a lot either 🐰 but the two of you went together, right? i went by myself and after 10 minutes passed, i wanted to leave 🐧 it was like that for me too 🐰 but these guys were in there for an hour and half 🐧 we did do it for an hour and half…it was actually fun 🐿️ it was actually fun 🐰 i wanted stop after just singing for just 10 minutes 🐧 i thought i hated karaoke rooms but it was more fun than i expected 🦊 karaoke rooms are fun 🐿️ huening was singing the songs and maybe because he was excited, he was moving his head in different directions on every beat…holding the mic and going 🙂‍↔️🫨🙂‍↕️ 🦊 i’m so curious 🐧 there’s probably a video 🐿️ there’s a video, (we’ll show you) later

Yesterday Claude filed my overdue German VAT Tax statements for Q3 2025. I used Claude Cowork and the Claude Chrome extension, no programming tricks, completely off the shelf stuff from Anthropic. I started Cowork with a project folder and put pdfs of my invoices and receipts in there and asked it to prepare the accounts for each quarter. Then I logged in to the German tax portal (Elster) and asked it to find and fill out the relevant forms and submit them. I recorded the last part of the process, then asked Claude to redact my personal information from the video and speed it up 3x so I could share it. Here it is, Claude does my taxes, Germany edition

Okay, so these highly polished calcite crystal slabs were situated UNDERNEATH the giant limestone paving stones. Think about that for a moment. Marble-top level polish on these calcite crystal slabs with purposeful channels carved into them, but they were placed under the multi-ton stone floor?? So they could never be accessed? So why were they so highly polished and why do they have these channels carved into them if they could never be accessed? Seems like a ton of work for something that was never going to be seen by anyone, ever. So it can't be artistic or even ritualistic because... well, nobody is ever going to see them or have access to them. So a permanent, inaccessible, highly polished calcite crystal infrastructure with a network of channels carved into it... I explore the possibilities with Geoffrey Drumm from The Land of Chem on-site at Saqqara in Egypt.

Why do I have the largest collection of curated TV commercials surfaced by independent VHS recordings to train AI? Trillions of dollars went in to them. Millions of minds. All to hone a message in 30 seconds. Today and forever AI will do this in seconds. There is a wealth of wisdom to learn from all of them as a genre. The profound compression of human emotions. Regardless of something being sold, like below, coffee, we can train AI to understand humanity in ways no other medium could. I hear the grumbling from some that may say this is “human slip” perhaps but it is far better than the self hating nihilism of Reddit and the Internet. My AI models already know human goals with our being told. And I am just getting started. So, you hear about “alignment” problems from brilliant AI minds, with them down for a coffee and school them, you now know more than most of them.

💬 minghao i want to watch you ski 🎱 how do i put it.. these past few years i feel like i cherish my life more. like previously, those bungee jumping, parachuting/skydiving, i wanted to try them. but really as i grow older, for adventurous things, things that are life-threatening, gradually i will try not to do them. my work intensity is already so demanding. although i'm playful and like these kinds of challenging things, things that push the limits.. i feel like no matter what i do, what if i injure myself? and like with concerts, comebacks, and some schedules, i've already made my body so weak, and if i continue to do these extreme things, i'm afraid just suddenly.. right? maybe i might be okay but accidents, you'll never know where they'll come from. [giggles] so really, i feel that if you're still young and have dreams and have the things you want to do, at this moment, you have to do it. because when i was young, although i don't feel like i'm getting old nor feel like my age is too advanced, my mentality is still really youthful. the truth is i'm still not old. but for me previously, a few years ago, whenever i wanted to do something, i'd definitely do it, so as of now i don't have anything that i particularly regret. never feel like 'in the future/later when i'm so on and so forth then i'll do it', at this moment you want to do it, just go and do it. you want to meet anyone, you have to go and meet them. want to do anything, you have to go and do it.
