Why don't Google just integrate Gemini within Google Assistant. TBVH, I just get bogged down by the no. of products doing the same thing vying for the same space. I don't need GenAI all the times but plain old trusted Google Assistant features. Sometimes, I need GenAI more.

That was fast: Google pushed an update to Gemini for Android last night that enabled auto sending queries when you invoke it via a swipe up gesture or long press of the power button.
