Genius way they use ice

I was like “but why the bone though………oooooooh, I see.”

If it's cold enough to freeze that much water just leave your food hanging on a pole and let it freeze outside. Why go to the trouble of making something out of ice? Sounds kinda dumb.

Looks like a big stainless steel pot is used!! No trees in sight. What did they use centuries ago to hold that much water in the frozen tundra?

Wouldn't it stay frozen by simply setting it outside?

So your hiding the scent of your food inside a thing with a gristle covered bone as a handle or you are worried about cooling food when its already freezing outside??

That was VASTLY more cool that I expected. And I started with VERY high expectations!

Why not just leave the good outside in the cold

Wouldn't completing bone attached to completing door, not attract animals nerd increase from odds of completing animals opening from thing.

Максимальная плотность воды при 4 градусах Цельсия. Таким образом лёд всегда образуется сверху. И никогда внизу. Не может вода замёрзнуть по кругу сама по себе. Она будет замерзать только сверху.

The way people live in these remote and cold parts is amazing. Some of them did this stuff for 100s of years

If outside is that cold, I don’t think you still need ice to preserve your food. A normal basket will do.

That wouldn't work in a place where there are polar bears.
