Good morning SERAH IBRAHIM, thank you for your concern about Ogun State. This Lafenwa-Itele-Ayobo road is a Federal road which most of its span stretches through Ado Odo Ota LGA of Ogun state, and it connects Ogun to Lagos State through Mopol Junction. However, I’d like to clarify the... show more

Beer Parlor rumor: Ambode wanted to do the Ogun State part of the road. This is a Guardian NG report from 2 months ago, see what the Director of Public Affairs and Research at the Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Mr Adekunle Adeshina said about the Lagos part.

Full report here:

@TheSerahIbrahim Lafenwa - Itele Road is in bad shape. If I want to visit a friend there, I usually park at the Lagos end and use bike to my destination. People have been complaining for more than 3 years (for a few klm road). My issue is that after your defence, the road remains like it is.

You have refused to read or listen. What defense? She said it's abandoned because she got it wrong that the road is 3km. It's actually 12km. I just told you the road is a FG road, FG awarded it to contractors and work is ongoing. If it's slow or substandard, the senator and FG deserves the prompt/ blame because right now, it's in their hands. 2. What's the defense in saying the photos are old ones. Is it not true? 3. The videos with geo-stamp showing asphalt laying on sections of the road are they false? So how does clarification on who's responsible and what the actual state of things are translate to me refuting?

@TheSerahIbrahim Oshey Sergio Ramos

@TheSerahIbrahim Right. The truth doesn’t matter:

@TheSerahIbrahim “Lafewan-Itele-Ayobo road is a Federal road”, is the Ayetoro axis of the road also a federal road? As any soil been lifted on the state owned stretch of those network of roads in the last 15yrs? Was the Lagos end of the road not a federal road when @AkinwunmiAmbode fixed it?

@TheSerahIbrahim @AkinwunmiAmbode The Lagos end was not even completed. This is a Guardian report from two months ago. Check the comment from the Director of Public Affairs and Research at the Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Mr Adekunle Adeshina,

Truly, there is reconstruction going on by Yayi through the federal government. I was in that axis few weeks ago, but if she passes through Ayobo en-route to Lafenwa, there is no way she would know that any reconstruction is happening because the reconstruction is still within Oke-Ola down to Mango which is a little bit far to lafenwa. Gig or not, I would not blame her if she passes through Ayobo to Lafenwa because it is truly a death trap and the last job on that road was truly over 18 years ago. Good job @Letter_to_Jack
