It was a genuine honor for me to be able to speak a few months ago to our elder, our senior, our role model, Khaled Nabhan, who was brutally and unnecessarily murdered by the Apartheid Regime of Israel today. I was able to tell him that he has impacted tens of millions of people around the world, and that I myself have given shahada to people who told me they embraced Islam because of his video and the dignity and faith that he exuded. His response was, 'Alhamdulillah who has used me to service His Deen.' Today, Allah reunited his soul with the 'soul of his soul', his granddaughter. May Allah deal with his murderers in this world before the next, and may we see the end of the Apartheid and genocide regime swiftly! PS. If you seem me flustered and overcome with emotion in the video, it's because I was: it was overwhelming to hear him and speak to him - alhamdulillah we were able to broadcast him live at the conference and I'm trying to get that video as well.

It's surface water pan, currently the only source of water to the subcounty hqs, in pathetic condition. 62 years after independence. 13 years into devolution. After Sh 150 billion spent by the County Government. And sh 6 billion allocated to water in the past 3 years of this clueless, pityless county administration. And in the backyard of the current Governor! The least they are asking for is the protection of the pan so that there is no contamination. It's not asking too much. The Governor spent millions on a chopper in the subcounty campagins last month. This week, he’s spending millions to move the Jamhuri Day celebrations from County Headquarters Mandera town to Elwak town to massage his ego. In the past month, he reportedly paid 20 bloggers sh 100K each to highlight his reports marking 3 years in office. Sadly, a fraction of this money would secure this water pan from pollution. A few months ago, a borehole was drilled 4 kms away. The priority should be to equip it & pipe the water to the town. When priorities are misplaced, our folks suffer and the dudes in office don’t feel it. Waa musiibaqutayaal! . May Allah ease the hardships of our folks.

Today is a truly blessed day as we joined our own Sheikh Abdulkadir Salman Solagberu when he delivered his inaugural Jumu’ah sermon (Khutbah) and led the prayers as an Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja. Following the prayer, I was honoured to host Sheikh and some Kwarans for lunch at my residence. May Allah (SWT) bless Sheikh Solagberu, the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin Emirate in his new role, grant him success in leading the Ummah, and accept his service. Ameen.

It is famously known as the masjid where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ observed his last two Eid prayers before his passing (Eid Fitr and Eid Aldha) The name “ Majid Al-Ghamāmah” means “the mosque of the cloud,” one day when the messenger of Allah was praying here, cloud once shaded him from hot son in this area, hence why it’s named the Masjid of the cloud. This mosque stands as a reminder of the final days of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and holds a special place in the hearts of those who visit Madinah. May Allah grant us the opportunity to visit and pray in such blessed places. Āmīn.

After the recent anti-Muslim riots in Fatikroy, Tripura, the Jama Masjid was severely damaged and left in ruins. In the face of that pain, we started a small fundraiser with one hope in our hearts—that the doors of the mosque would reopen and the first prayer of Ramzan would be offered there. Alhamdulillah, today for the past 21 days, the mosque that was once attacked has been echoing again with the beautiful recitation of Taraweeh. What hate tried to silence, the unity of the community revived with dignity and faith. A heartfelt gratitude to every single person who donated and stood with us in this effort. Your support did not just rebuild a space—it restored hope, courage, and the spirit of worship in a wounded community. May Allah reward you abundantly.

The Israeli news channel uploaded this Israeli drone footage finally showing them killing a Palestinian fighter thinking it’d break our spirits but this melted our hearts and left us in awe. What a brave brother. What was going through his mind in his final moments? What was going through his mind as he ran alone towards the next building to stop the oppressors from advancing and heading towards the civilians. The son of Palestine picked up arms to protect his abandoned people as the world leaders and organisations watch the genocide play out before our eyes. What an honour for the Ummah to have such people among us. What an honour for the people of Palestine. What an honour for the people of Gaza. What an honour for the resistance. What an honour for his city. What an honour for his loved ones. What an honour for him. ❤️🥲 He raises his index shahada finger testifying to the Oneness of Allah after being hit in the back with a shrapnel yet somehow musters up all his energy and courage to fall into one final sujood as he departs from his world. This is how he will be raised on the day of judgment in front of Allah! Allahu Akbar. Abandoned by the whole world here is this man whose faith and conviction in the words of Allah remain steadfast as he supports our brothers, mothers and babies in Gaza. He puts himself as a shield in between the oppressed and the oppressor. Allah was enough for him and he couldn’t have asked for a better way to return back to Allah. 🕌 Shah Abbas Mosque: A Masterpiece of Iranian Architecture. 🇮🇷 The Shah Abbas Mosque, also officially known as the Imam Mosque, is a mosque located on the south side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan, in the province of Isfahan, Iran. In 1598, when Shah Abbas decided to move the capital of his Persian empire from the northwestern city of Qazvin to the central city of Isfahan, he initiated what would become one of the greatest programs in Persian history; the complete remaking of this ancient city. By choosing the central city of Isfahan, fertilized by the Zāyandeh River, lying as an oasis of intense cultivation in the midst of a vast area of arid landscape, he both distanced his capital from any future assaults by Iran's neighboring arch rival, the Ottomans, and at the same time gained more control over the Gulf, which had recently become an important trading route for the Dutch and British East India Companies. Because of the Shah's desire to have the building completed during his lifetime, shortcuts were taken in the construction; for example, the Shah ignored warnings by one of the architects, Abu'l Qāsim, regarding the danger of subsidence in the foundations of the mosque, and he pressed ahead with the construction. The architect proved to be right, as in 1662 the building had to undergo major repairs.

🕌 Shah Abbas Mosque: A Masterpiece of Iranian Architecture. 🇮🇷 The Shah Abbas Mosque, also officially known as the Imam Mosque, is a mosque located on the south side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan, in the province of Isfahan, Iran. In 1598, when Shah Abbas decided to move the capital of his Persian empire from the northwestern city of Qazvin to the central city of Isfahan, he initiated what would become one of the greatest programs in Persian history; the complete remaking of this ancient city. By choosing the central city of Isfahan, fertilized by the Zāyandeh River, lying as an oasis of intense cultivation in the midst of a vast area of arid landscape, he both distanced his capital from any future assaults by Iran's neighboring arch rival, the Ottomans, and at the same time gained more control over the Gulf, which had recently become an important trading route for the Dutch and British East India Companies. Because of the Shah's desire to have the building completed during his lifetime, shortcuts were taken in the construction; for example, the Shah ignored warnings by one of the architects, Abu'l Qāsim, regarding the danger of subsidence in the foundations of the mosque, and he pressed ahead with the construction. The architect proved to be right, as in 1662 the building had to undergo major repairs.

"You are a snake" WATCH the threatening way Rabbi Arnie Saunders was treated when he was invited to the Bilal Mosque in Prestwich, Manchester in his role as the Conservative candidate for Bury South by the mosque elders. That he was allowed to be abused, intimidated and have his personal space invaded is disgraceful and shocking. He must have feared for his safety. By contrast two of the mosque elders were recently invited to the Jewish Representative Council of GM & Region Bury South hustings and treated with nothing but courtesy and respect.

🔴 Chinese Security Forces Detain Hui Imam On 15th December, the Chinese security forces detained well known Hui Imam and preacher, Ma Yuwei, in Yuxi City of Yunnan Province. Ma Yuwei is the Imam of Yuxi Daying Mosque and has been committed to teaching the Quran and Islamic knowledge to the Muslim community for many years and is highly respected. However, in recent years, as the government has strengthened its control and clampdown over religious activities, he has been constantly followed and threatened many times. In order to protect his safety, he and his family lived in seclusion in the mosque for half a year without going out. On the 15th December, Ma Yuwei received a phone call to go out for dinner. Unexpectedly, he was arrested by the security forces who had been waiting for him as soon as he sat down for 5 minutes at the Shuxiang Chuanchuanxiang Restaurant near Nie'er Square in Hongta District. A large number of Hui Muslims gathered in front of the municipal government building, demanding his release. They have camped outside the building and will not leave until the Imam is released. #China #Islam
