Suggestion/Request: plz add a walking/jogging track in this urban forest so that every one can benefit from this fascinating site. And also plz set a nominal entry fees to keep it family place and financially sustainable for future.

There should be 1 such urban forest in each of 25 TMCs of Karachi. It would be a great visiting place for families especially children which would encourage them to plant trees for the future.

Visited the new Urban Forest being developed by KMC at Rashid Minhas Road. We had started work in the last week of July & mashallah it is progressing at a good pace. Apart from plantation, we are also developing a walking and jogging track for the people as well as two small lakes. In addition to this 5 acres development, I have also received commitments from two private sector entities for further developing another 5 acres each. United we will move forward for a greener Karachi 🌳

As announced, KMC has started work on repairing its roads. There are a total of 106 roads in KMC’s domain & we will be rehabilitating those roads to ensure that there are no potholes & the traffic remains smooth. Video is of Sher Shah Suri Road where work has begun. Have given a time of 60 days to the KMC team to complete this task. Will keep everyone posted 🙏

We are still on the road. Have gone through Drig Road to Rashid Minhas Road to Gulistan e Johar. All of this area is clear and water has been drained out. The only troubling part has remained the Natha Khan area where I am headed to right now

This was his 3rd visit during the last one week to ensure that there are no further delays & work is proceeding as per plan on the mixed traffic lane. VIDEO | Uttarakhand: IIT Roorkee Mechanical & Industrial Engineering HOD Prof Akshay Dwivedi says, "IIT Roorkee has been moving forward in one particular area, which is innovation. We understand that whenever there is innovation, it should not be limited to the lab. There is also a need to take it outside the lab and do something with it. For that, we first recognised the strength of startups, whose agility is very important, and started developing an enabling ecosystem for them. At IIT Roorkee, it is not just the Mechanical Department; other departments are also working in the same direction. The institute has developed very good rules and regulations in this area. The Faculty Entrepreneurship Policy is one such initiative that allows faculty members to start their own startups. When we entered this space, we realised what kind of needs startups outside the institute might have. Aligning with the national mission, when we looked at different technology areas in India, we found that there was a domain where a lot could be done in the automobile sector. There was a scheme of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, the Capital Goods Phase-II Scheme, aimed at advancing technologies that are not available in India and exploring whether better technologies could be developed here. We have developed different technologies in collaboration with industry partners and startups. At present, we are working on six such technologies, which will enter the market very soon." There were complaints that Safoora/Mausamiyat Bridge has not been opened for traffic. This is today’s video & traffic can be seen moving. With regards to remaining work on University Road, we are hopeful to have the entire artery completed in the next few weeks inshallah 🙏

Visited the under construction Chakoor Naala Expressway along with KMC team. Happy to share that work is proceeding on a fast pace on both the expressway as well as the at grade road which will run parallel to the Natha Khana Bridge. Street lighting system is also being installed. If all goes well carpeting of the road will start in the first week of October inshallah #KarachiWorks

As announced, work has started on Layin Sarkin Margi Road To River Road, Kwaru Badarawa. The work has started. We will deploy solar lights once it is done and we will make sure we green up the area as well. The good people of Kaduna North will always come first. We are focused on what we are doing and we have an excellent team working day and night. Please pray for us and correct us in a fair manner as we continue to serve you. More roads will be announced once I am sure they will begin immediately. Thank you and Allah ya bamu karfin rike amana.
