A nice update since the previous post. I can now get 5000 offset characters running in realtime with no bake node! I am using a radial falloff here to offset the obj sequence. Thanks to a new 4.5 alpha PR from Jacques Lucke #geometrynodes #b3d #mograph #blender3d #animation

Something I made a little while ago -- a blur implementation in the shader editor. Uses a custom node with a kernel to easily do sharpening etc with it too! It's interesting to play with for camera distance based blurring :3 #blender3d #b3d

It's really amazing how seamless the workflow between rigging and #geometrynodes is in Blender. Just add a prop onto rig and drive everything with that. Materials, simulations, you name it. ⚡️ #b3d

#GeometryNodes has been extended with a few new features recently. First up, the new Bake node allows caching an intermediate geometry on disk. Next steps are to keep material assignments intact and to provide a higher level overview of the bakes in a scene. #b3d #devfund

Just tried the new Cloth Dynamics solver in Blender 5.2 Alpha #geometrynodes with interactive fern foliage! Still missing self-collision for now, and I had to jump inside the node group to tweak a few things manually, but it’s great to see this system exist now... #b3d #blender
