Everyone wants agent swarms. Very few people are talking seriously enough about the context layer that makes swarms useful. Even with one agent, context is fragile. Too little context and the agent guesses. Too much context and it wastes tokens, loses focus, or reasons over irrelevant noise. The sweet spot is precise context: the right knowledge, in the right structure, at the right moment. With many agents, that challenge explodes. Each agent produces decisions, assumptions, findings, summaries, risks, and partial conclusions. Unless that knowledge becomes shared, structured, and reusable, every new agent is forced to rediscover what another agent already learned. That is not a swarm. That is a crowd. Shared context graphs are what turn agent activity into agent collaboration, and OriginTrail DKG V10 brings them to life. Was just playing with some final polishing for the V10 release, and it is really powerful to see shared context graphs where multiple agents contribute knowledge into the same connected memory, with attribution visible directly in the graph ui. That matters for three reasons. First, agents can access and build on one shared memory instead of staying trapped in isolated sessions. Second, the graph structure helps them retrieve the exact context they need, instead of stuffing everything into a prompt and hoping the model sorts it out. Third, verifiability of provenance. You can see which agent contributed each piece of knowledge, trace the source, and decide what to trust. Tokenmaxxing starts with fewer tokens, but the deeper story is coordination - agents stop reloading the world and start building on shared, verifiable context. That is the foundation for serious multi-agent work across software engineering, research, finance, operations, project management, and far beyond. The future is not more agents, it is agents working from shared, verifiable context. But the more the merrier, of course.

Introducing Agent Wikis! I've been using llm wikis (or knowledge bases) for research and videos for a while to ensure the information I'm providing is always up-to-date and accurate. Now you can access them for free! Just point your agent at to access wikis on many topics, including Hermes Agent, Hyperframes, Google Ads, and llama.cpp. They can be queried through a simple MCP server. Everything has been designed to be agent-friendly and lightweight (no context bloat). This is a beta release, so please let me know of any bugs or issues (I'm sure there are one or two). You can also join the waitlist if you would like us to create and maintain your own private wiki, or if you are a project owner you can request one for your project to make sure your users (and their agents) don't run into any common issues (and also be featured on the site). AT LAST! Custom Status Lines are coming to Codex 🙌 This is just one of many highly requested features in the pipeline. You can now run /statusline to configure exactly what shows in your terminal. Choose from 15 data points, toggle them on/off, or even reorder them. One thing I'd love to see in the future is to be able to install custom extensions that would allow you to customize their styling or run custom scripts (like weather updates). More updates coming soon, but this is the most mature imminent release (0.99 Alpha). Codex team is absolutely cooking.

New short course: LLMs as Operating Systems: Agent Memory, created with Letta, and taught by its founders Charles Packer and Sarah Wooders. An LLM's input context window has limited space. Using a longer input context also costs more and results in slower processing. So, managing what's stored in this context window is important. In the innovative paper MemGPT: Towards LLMs as Operating Systems, its authors (which include the instructors) proposed using an LLM agent to manage this context window. Their system uses a large persistent memory that stores everything that could be included in the input context, and an agent decides what is actually included. Take the example of building a chatbot that needs to remember what's been said earlier in a conversation (perhaps over many days of interaction with a user). As the conversation's length grows, the memory management agent will move information from the input context to a persistent searchable database; summarize information to keep relevant facts in the input context; and restore relevant conversation elements from further back in time. This allows a chatbot to keep what's currently most relevant in its input context memory to generate the next response. When I read the original MemGPT paper, I thought it was an innovative technique for handling memory for LLMs. The open-source Letta framework, which we'll use in this course, makes MemGPT easy to implement. It adds memory to your LLM agents and gives them transparent long-term memory. In detail, you’ll learn: - How to build an agent that can edit its own limited input context memory, using tools and multi-step reasoning - What is a memory hierarchy (an idea from computer operating systems, which use a cache to speed up memory access), and how these ideas apply to managing the LLM input context (where the input context window is a "cache" storing the most relevant information; and an agent decides what to move in and out of this to/from a larger persistent storage system) - How to implement multi-agent collaboration by letting different agents share blocks of memory This course will give you a sophisticated understanding of memory management for LLMs, which is important for chatbots having long conversations, and for complex agentic workflows. I’ve been too worried it’s not the best it can be, but my wife encouraged me to fail fast if I was worried about failure, so here we are. Introducing Kontinuo by Pull Base, the continuity layer for your AI coding agents. You’re mid-task, you hit a rate limit on Claude, and you want to keep going on Codex or Cursor. But the next agent has no idea what just happened. Kontinuo fixes that, it leaves a verifiable context log the next agent can actually use and it’s really token efficient. Database table size impacts performance in more ways than one: a) B-tree depth. Using 8k pages and a 16b uuid: 1 level = ~370 rows 2 levels = ~138k rows 3 levels = ~50m rows 4 levels = ~20b rows The lookup cost on a table with 100k rows is not the same as one with 1b rows. This can apply both to the table itself (MySQL cluster index) as well as the indexes. Sometimes a single query requires many of them. b) Small table → fits in RAM → fast reads. The larger the table, the more likely to read from disk plus churn the cache. c) # of indexes. Each adds maintenance overhead for insertions, and for Postgres vacuum overhead as well. Keep an eye on this! It's useful to take regular stock of your tables + indexes. Clean bloat. Remove unused indexes. Partition if needed.

Three skills I use every day in Claude Code and Codex to solve my hardest problems: 1️⃣ /agent-watchdog When I have one agent like Codex working on a task and I don't fully trust it's going to do everything right, I'll open up another one like Claude Code and tell it to watchdog the Codex thread. You can copy the Codex deep link into Claude Code and it'll look at the prompt you sent, watch the Codex thread until it's done, then compare the Codex solution to how it was planning to solve it and automatically fix anything that Codex missed. It can also test the work of the other agent end-to-end. Similar to the idea of OpenRouter's new Fusion feature, I've definitely found that two models thinking through a problem and checking each other's work can be wildly more impactful than just one. 2️⃣ /plan-arbiter Similar ideas as /agent-watchdog - but with this one you have both make plans, compare plans, negotiate the differences, and make a final plan to execute. I find Claude Code is better at writing plans, but Codex is faster and cheaper to execute on them. Then I usually have Claude Code watchdog the Codex work and fix anything that was missed. 3️⃣ /read-the-damn-docs One thing that drives me crazy with coding agents is they're so reluctant to look up docs. They'll just guess and guess and guess at the right API surface for things, or the right solution to an integration of two things. Once I explicitly tell it to look up the docs, it says "Oh, I see the answer," and it fixes the problem. So I made the /read-the-damn-docs skill. Add it and your agents will know when and how to do efficient web searches to look up docs for the types of problems you really should look up docs for. Just watched a demo of Merge Agent Handler and this actually looks pretty useful if you’re building AI agents. Most agents can generate responses, but getting them to actually take actions across real tools is still messy. Integrations are one thing, but handling auth, permissions, and security usually makes it way more complicated than it should be. What I liked is that it feels built for real workflows — you can actually see what your agent is doing instead of just hoping it works. Feels like a practical layer between AI agents and real work getting done. Worth checking out:
