finally got an iPhone and made a VBridger comparison using NVidia tracking w/ webcam vs iPhone my final thoughts having tried the main tracking methods, I gotta say NVidia is THE WORST, not worth it just for extra mouth shapes I'd recommend either basic webcam w/o VB, or full iPhone might do a more elaborate video on this if people are interested, since I've tried and tested for many many hours

For 3D tracking, it's super important to adjust your tracking parameters!🩷 What I like to do is to make a expression, like frowning, and if that blendshape's output isn't max, then I lower the upper bound of the input until it is! <3 I'm using iFacialMocap with an iPhone while wearing glasses and with the lights off -^u^-

A YouTube comment asked me: "Why do you use many warp deformers even though you use blendshapes? Why not just use one deformer for all parameters?" I'm not great with words to explain so instead here is a video why I recommend using individual warp deformers for each parameters when skinning! Note: - You can use normal parameters when skinning, it's just that I prefer using blendshapes because you can control it better if I ever want to add animations to it - Using only one warp deformer causes the mesh to expand and shrink when all the skinning parameters are moving left and right. Making the swaying of the mash very unnatural #Live2D
