My only caveat is the context injection. Hermes is excellent on a local model with unlimited context, but with all of the skills, memory, tool, etc., it can get filled up quick

I've heard a lot of things about Hermes being better than open claw is that true?

setting Hermes up after watching your video. before this I was using OpenClaw on a plug and play Raspberry Pi device we built for running agent workflows through telegram. I call it Intern. curious to see how Hermes feels on the same setup.

Reliability is the part people underrate until they’ve had a workflow break at the worst possible time. New features are nice, but “it just keeps working” is what actually changes tool loyalty.

Running openclaw in production on a vps for months. the update fragility is real but the fix is simple: pin your version and only update intentionally. most people who complain about broken updates are on auto-update. hermes kanban looks clean though, the /goal loop is basically react with a better ux wrapper

hermes is solid but watch what happens when you need to modify a file it hasn't touched in 3 iterations... it starts hallucinating the structure still use it daily though

I want Hermes communication layer built into OpenClaw. I like how I can interrupt and update Hermes mid task but I also don’t like how it takes forever to do simple tasks or over complicates things. It often spends 20 minutes going around in circles whereas OpenClaw is able to respond quickly and delegate properly.

If Hermes is excellent then Armacore is phenomenal

running it 24/7 for our setup. the "just works" part is what nobody talks about. most frameworks make you babysit. hermes is the first one i can leave running overnight without anxiety tbh

Exactly this. I've tried every automation tool and they all break constantly or need daily babysitting. The fact that Hermes actually works consistently is rare - most tools promise reliability but deliver maintenance headaches instead.
