With Atlas, you can literally make films. And it also basically solves first-frame-last-frame transitions. Reconstruct a 3D scene from images, then position the camera exactly where you want it, and let Atlas fill in what the camera would see along that path. You’re in the director's chair, staging the scene. Here we made a 1 min video with a couple images of totally different scenes, and we set where the camera keyframes should move through each part of the scene. The scene-to-scene transitions are great. Atlas makes it feel like a smooth shot with no cuts.

Our method bridges traditional cinema and the incredibly impressive AI future. "Geo" represents earth, ground, geometry, location. How it works: we build scenes and sets as physical miniatures, hand-crafted, lit, and shot practical on cinema cameras and lenses. That footage becomes our source plate: a live-action anchor with real light, real depth, and real texture that brings unmatched intention and direction to the generative AI process. Then, inside our proprietary software ("ST00DIO"), we bring the plate to life with additional elements. Our mixture of original 3D models and AI-generated assets are integrated into the scene, giving us greater control over performance and animation, directed by humans. AI handles relighting, asset-based set extensions, and atmosphere, but the world itself is born from photographic live action. The final piece is our "Shot Composer" tool for micro adjustments if needed, or entirely new scene framing. From a single still frame from the miniature capture source plate, it generates procedural geometry and a matching, fully directable virtual camera. From there, if we desire, we can further direct the shot with precise control: camera moves that were never physically possible on the practical tabletop, specific composition rebuilds, and explicit blocking for animated characters, then render the new result against the original live-action plate (video). Sharing this Godot quick tip for the new people trying to figure out how to mess with the game while it's running! ✨ (Thanks to Daniel Queiroz Porto and and Ian Williams for pointing this out) 1. Go to the Project Settings 2. Click "Advanced Settings" 3. In "Window" highlight "Always on Top" and create a new editor override for it by choosing "editor" from the list and clicking "Add" 4. Enable the new override you just added 5. Now when you run the scene (Ctrl+R) the window will always stay on top! 6. Press the Camera icon on top of the viewport to sync your editor camera to the game camera 7. Click on the "Remote" tab of the Scene panel. All of the changes you make to these objects will sync with your game in real time! Bonus Tip: You can make it switch to the "Remote" tab by default when you run the game if you go to Editor Settings (Ctrl+Comma) -> Network -> Debugger and click "Auto Switch to Remote Scene Tree"! #godottips

This is not a videogame. No engine. No 3D models. No code. I built it with 3 tools: Midjourney 8.2 for the character and the world. Seedance 2.5 for every shot. Topaz Astra to upscale it. The trick is not the tools. It's how you prompt. I described the camera like a game camera. Rigid follow distance. Snap turns. A HUD locked to the screen. The model did the rest. Here's what I learned: Lock your character first. One clean character sheet. Reference it in every generation. This is what stops the drift. Prompt the medium, not just the scene. "Gameplay capture" gives you a different image than "cinematic shot". Flat exposure, deep focus, no film grain. That's what makes it read as a game. Fights come out stiff. Everyone takes turns. Tell the model everything happens at once and re-render until it does. Generate short clips. Cut them yourself. Add music in post. You have more control than one long generation will ever give you. Now the bigger picture. Video models are becoming world models. They are learning how things move, react, collide. The gap between "video that looks like a game" and "a game you can play" is closing. Soon you won't prompt a trailer. You'll prompt the game itself. The world, the character, the rules. Then you walk in. When that happens, the engine won't be the skill. Your ability to direct worlds will be.
