The main work continues to be grade preparation, clearing & relocation of temporary workshops, material storage & equipment & there was some preliminary GeoPier work strengthening the soil for eventual construction. The beveled corners that we saw in the original render have yet to emerge, so I’m not sure if this is a change, or will be added later. This all says “acceleration” to me!

On the south end of what I think may be phase 1 of the construction, the large depressed graded area has had about .5 to 1 meters of gravel and crushed concrete added and now GeoPier equipment is at work. On the middle section, dense footings of two primary types are being constructed, suggesting heave loading of the structure in this area. On the north end, it’s mainly flat grade with little footing work so far. I say I *think* this might be a two phase construction project because the north perimeter grade beam is laid out as if it is the final configuration, but the south end is not. There is a large field south of this area that, with reclamation work, could support a doubling of the structure, if that was desired.

Many still don’t understand why Elon is building Terafab Terafab is an extension to all the chip makers in the world It’s not about replacement, not a rivalry and absolutely not competing It’s being built to fulfill the massive chip orders that Tesla, SpaceX and xAI actually need TSMC’s most advanced 2nm capacity is totally booked through 2028 Tesla signed a massive $16.5 billion deal with Samsung back in July 2025 to produce AI6 chips at their Taylor, Texas factory and Samsung is building a Tesla Exclusive chip manufacturing plant to full fill this orders When Elon announced Terafab on March 21, 2026...he made it clear: “That rate is much less than we’d like. We either build the Terafab or we don’t have the chips, and we need the chips, so we build the Terafab” He basically told the chip makers: “Produce as much as you comfortably can. We will take them all. Actually we want even more” Even today Elon said: "SpaceX/Tesla will be always be major customers of TSMC and not competitors in the normal sense of the word" Current production rates are much less than they need....That’s why Terafab exists Terafab is an extension to every chip maker… not competition, not rivalry, absolutely not Even Intel has joined as a partner Even if chip supply improves, massive bottlenecks still exist with memory and advanced packaging You simply can't risk those supply chain breaks at this scale That’s why Terafab is being built to vertically integrate everything - chips, memory, advanced packaging all under one roof, targeting 1 terawatt of AI compute capacity per year This is a ludicrous amount of chips that no chipmaker currently produces at this scale. I don't think even TSMC and Samsung truly understand these numbers yet It’s about building the capacity the future actually demands

The realization over the last two extensions has come home to roost. There is not going to be a purchase of TikTok with the Chinese algorithm. We know that we can't buy the algorithm so we're gonna have to rewrite this whole thing, but while we're doing that, we're gonna try and solve for all the litigation that social media gets all stemming from the fact that the platform owns the data and the customer doesn't. I think we're gonna have to fix that. So our proposal is to fix that and not use the Chinese algorithm. When you issue a chip, let's say you take an NVIDIA chip, that chip is a queen bee. It sits in the center of the hive and every programmer that uses that chip is the honeybee. It spends millions of hours training on that chip, learning that chip, writing code for that chip and developing AI for that chip. That's the honey. There's only gonna be two kinds of honey on Earth. American or Chinese. Now if you want the world to be running on Chinese honey, stop shipping American queen bee chips, and that is what is happening right now.

The CEO of the company that supplies the machines to build it just said it is an upside opportunity and compared it to the largest chip buildouts in history. That is not a small statement. ASML makes the lithography machines that every advanced semiconductor fab on earth depends on. You cannot print a chip without them. There is no workaround. There is no alternative supplier. If the Terafab gets built, every single machine inside it comes from one company. The interviewer asked the ASML CEO directly about one terawatt of compute power. He did not laugh. He did not hedge. He compared it to the massive DRAM megaprojects in Korea and said new projects at that scale are exactly the kind of upside ASML is positioned for. His exact words: "New projects are opportunity." Then he said something that most people missed. He said ASML is already watching the Terafab very carefully. Tracking when things will happen. At what speed. That is not how you talk about a fantasy project. The mainstream take on the Terafab is that Musk is dreaming. The CEO of the most critical company in the entire chip supply chain just said he is preparing for it. Those are not the same position. There is a morning in Texas when the sky stacks clouds like it means something and the pasture goes so green it almost doesn’t look real. The sun is already working. Starting with October 1, 2025 “there is a 2 year max time limit on this program for everyone that's able to work now” No more spending a lifetime on Section 8!! “There are major changes coming to Section 8 housing starting with October 1, 2025 that will affect millions of Americans — Instead of HUD running that voucher program national wide, they will send those funds to the state in the form of block grants which means that every state will decide how to spend those funds. But it's a smaller amount of funds so that means that fewer people will be able to get the assistance. One of the most controversial parts about this program is there is a 2 year max time limit on this program for everyone that's able to work now. There is a major contract to right now which the average family stays on this program for about six years even if they are able to work. A lot of the supporters of this build are pointing out that a lot of people are taking advantage of this program and sucking the resources that could be used for someone that actually needs them.”
