Yeah, OSHA would like a word!

If you guide a saw straight and support the stock, it doesn't lock up like that. That's just fixing dumbazz with more dumbazz. Note the bloody knuckles and flip-flops for professional recommendations.

Flip flops on the job site framing is a choice

If he would have lowered the base a half of an inch it would work as intended. plus, he's a dumbass wearing flip flops

Did you see the HUGE gash on the guys hand. I’m not sure taking the safety guard off is in his best interest. 😳

Works great!

Pro tip: Always consider the source.

I was expecting him to toss the Dewalt aside and pull out a Milwaukee 🤣

Just cut from the other side. The big flat side of the guard needs something flat.

Lmao, so many people replying who will never even make a single cut with a circ saw. The blade guard tends to bind on small offcuts like that, I've used a carpenter pencil to hold the guard like this for 10+ years and still have all of my fingers.

Better but Not fixed

His hands show he has had his 4 monster energy drinks and is good to go

The dangerous part is the depth of the blade. If that blade binds and kicks back that's when bad things happen.

I like the safety flip flops

I’ve seen someone finish a cut, forget their guard was back and rest the saw against their thigh…

Idiot. It is not cutting because the blade is set too deep. Here's another example of people who don't understand how to use hand tools. I would say by this time next year. He's gonna be missing a couple of fingers.

You my young friend are inexperienced and shouldn't be giving advice. Turn yourself around so that the large flat on the saw is on the board. Problem solved without sawing your hand off

Don’t do that

And that’s how you sever your main artery in your leg and bleed to death before you can make it to the hospital. Caulking the guard is an absolute NO GO.

Someone get that man a beer

He should just remove the guards from ALL of his tools.

Retard , does he also remove safety’s of all his guns

Wow! Bunch of safety nazis here in the comments. We've made it too easy for too long so that the least fit to survive can. Now, we've actually manifested Idiocracy. The guy behind Beavis and Butthead predicted the future, It's THAT bad. Warning Labels created this situation.

Trust the dude who’s bleeding,no hard hat or safety glasses and wearing flip flops on the job site.

Also take a Stop the Bleed class and buy a good trauma kit….

Uhm. No. And sawing in flip flops too? Nope.

Obviously, this guy is an idiot. Who works with power tools in flip flops? He's begging to lose a toe.

In every video dude is shaking like a leaf i could never work with someone like this.

This is as old as skill saws are.

How to lose your hand

yep and set on the ground and watch it run over your foot

I used a Skil saw for 30 years and I swear that having the guard functioning is often times more dangerous than having it pinned

Clean, sharpen, and tighten the blade.

You bought a toy battery powered saw with a 💩 blade. Your left hand is already bleeding. You just locked the safety guard back. Still had to force it through the wood. You are wearing flip flops on an active construction site. You are a ER visit waiting to happen.

Taking advice on power tools from a man wearing flip flops is not advised!
