I gave ChatGPT Codex an article & screenshot from a famous, lost Maxis simulation, SimRefinery, and asked it to create it for me. It built a playable prototype for me while I did other stuff, never touching any code once, instead just occasionally poking Codex for small changes.

I generated one image with GPT Image 2.0, gave it to Codex, and used one simple prompt: “Create me a web game from this image.” You give it a simple image like this, and suddenly you realize you can build: • a voxel map • an editor • tile animations • a playable browser prototype This is getting ridiculous.

I love when Codex outsmarts me! Asked Codex to hack this badge that I got from Temporal's conference by putting Codex pets on it. I also gave it a photo of the badge along with it. Codex found the actual firmware of the badge on GitHub to have a starter 😂

The ball is affected by Earth’s gravity and friction from the hexagon walls. The bouncing must appear realistic. → Tests physics simulation, code planning, and visual realism. ChatGPT 5 won. Grok 4 lost. Note: I waited 7 minutes for Grok 4 to respond but it didn't worked and on the other hand ChatGPT 5 gave me a customizable canvas so I can play around with it. I suspect most people underestimate what o3 is capable of doing. One example: I gave it an Excel file for a small business I use for my classes & the single prompt "identify the key assumptions here and give me a sensitivity analysis." It did a lot of work & gave a good answer.
